Let's start with the front desk staff, Absolutely warm, friendly and professional. I was extremely nervous because I was having 2 wisdom teeth and one regular tooth removed at the same time. Even though I was being sedated (put to sleep) my stomach was in knots about the whole thing. My husband was more anxious than I was however, the entire staff was very warm and empathetic to each of us. The surgeon explained everything to my husband and myself down to the tea. The whole procedure including the sedation may have taken 30 mins tops. I had my surgery yesterday and my face wasn't even that swollen after the procedure plus I have stitches and today it's not swollen at all. I'm not even taking narcotics just a high dose of pain medicine post surgery 1 day. Great Staff, great Surgeon great Dental Assistances. Keep up the great work guys.

Fifteen minutes past my appointment time I asked the receptionist how long it would be before Dr. Palumbo would see me. The receptionist seemed to cast my concerns aside, stating Dr. Palumbo was performing surgery. I asked what that had to do with my appointment time, as I was on leave from my job. After being treated so dismissively, I just asked for an excuse note so I could return to work. It appears that my initial experience of waiting an excessive amount of time to be seen was not an anomaly. I loathe it when medical providers triple, quadruple book patients for the same time, as if people have nothing to do but sit around and wait for them. Greed seems to be the underlying factor, and I, for one, will not abide anyone taking me or my time for granted. To his credit, Dr. Palumbo did call me to apologize, but when I tried to explain to him that a simple phone call asking me to re-schedule would have been acceptable, he over-talked me. Thus, the downgrade. Just as other reviewers wrote, Dr. Palumbo and his staff are superb! He has excellent chair-side manner, he's jovial and compassionate, very down to earth, and most importantly, competent! He called to check on me after my extraction, re-iterated the post-op instructions, seemed genuinely concerned about my well-being and asked me if I had any additional questions. (I don't recall ever receiving this kind of attention from a medical professional after a visit. He also gives his cell number so you can contact him directly, instead of going through after-hour service, if necessary.) I am extremely happy that I took a chance on this oral surgeon, who hasn't lost old-school values, as many other providers seemingly have. One drawback: I did have to wait about 40 minutes to be seen, but I hope this was only due to my being a new patient with added registration/insurance verification procedures. (I strongly suggest new patients either complete forms online or print out, complete and bring to first appointment.) Kudos, Team!

He even books his own appointment sometime. He works like crazy and has early-morning hours and weekends. My family has been going to Dr. Ting for almost 20 years which is around when he first started his practice. He has been in the same location the whole time with the same assistant. My parents, my siblings, and now our children go there. My brother lives an hour away now and he still travels that far just to see him. We have referred so many people to him who live just as far, and travel just as far just to see him.I can't believe he doesn't have more reviews on here, but probably because people are being selfish. A waste of money! I…read morehave been going to Dr. Banks since April 2019. I never missed no scheduled appointments and my braces should have been taken off, instead Dr. Banks kept making mistakes. One of the mistakes was him moving my top front teeth to far back which caused one of my front teeth to change a grayish color, the cause was from him moving my teeth so far back my tooth hit a nerve. I bought it to his attention and he tried to brush it off and he agreed that my front top teeth were indeed moved to far back. Before getting my braces on I had an over-jet which was the reason for me getting braces, Dr. Banks turned my over-jet into an extremely deep bite that you couldn't see my front bottom teeth when I bite down. I bought this issue to his attention, again he brushed it off and told me it's not a big deal. Well it's in fact a big deal because thousands of dollars was lost and my teeth is not corrected. I went in for my monthly appointment and he told me my braces were ready to come, I looked him in his eyes and told him that's incorrect and asked him for a mirror and I pointed out to him everything that was wrong. I still had a few spaces between my teeth that he kept ignoring. After going to Dr. Banks office for 6 YEARS I decided to go to another Orthodontics because it seems as though Dr. Banks didn't know what he was doing and he continued to gaslight me. I continued to still go to Dr. Banks after all of these years because I already paid him because I honestly didn't want to have to pay for braces again through another provider. I did everything I was told to do on my part like wearing my rubber bands, Dr. Banks even stated that I no longer have to wear them anymore. By the time of the operation, I had unintentionally finished the medication, assuming it was part of preoperative preparation. Instead of addressing this confusion or prescribing additional pain relief, I was reprimanded for consuming the medication too soon, despite the absence of clear guidance. They have heated massage chairs and blankets if you are cold like me. Pretty good experience.
