There is excellent, authentic Chinese food in CDMX, but Narvarte or Viaducto Piedad was just too far to go today.
My Chinese husband actually likes Panda Express, so the three stars rather than one or two. The food is sweet, gummy Chinese inspired American. If you are used to US Panda Express, it's pretty similar, except no Hot and Sour Soup, which is the only thing I eat there. Most dishes taste exactly alike. The Kung Pao Chicken differs from the Teriyaki only in the addition of vegetables and some spice. The noodles are ok, but a bit pasty and oniony.
Service was fast, but I did not appreciate the server sporting his mask below his nose.
We had take away. The venue is bright, spacious and accommodates groups.
