If you've never been here before, Lolo is a shop in the Olmos Park area that specializes in high-quality products from Mexico. They work with artisans and make sure they get paid accordingly for their work to ensure a fair trade. Overall, I think is wonderful that they want to make sure that their art and work is being recognized outside of Mexico, and that they can depend on this partnership to succeed and have financial security. The store has everything you can imagine from clothing, to home decor, and other stuff. They have a nice variety of artists from all over the country and the prices are reasonable for the quality of work. Please note that these are high quality products and not the cheap stuff you find at other store during Fiesta. All of their products are unique pieces and it will reflect in the prices. Overall, I can't wait to come back and see what new and unique items I can find.

They had vintage guayaberas, hand made tops from Mexico, DKNY, Anna Klein, Farm Rio and many more brands that were in great condition. Two piece sets and gorgeous flowy skirts for vacation trips at very reasonable prices. I found a cute black dress with ladies in sunglasses stitched to it. They had leather purses like Coach, Patricia Nash, BCBG and rhinestone purses too. I was obsessed with their lounge wear rack. Loungewear as in pajamas and robes, not work out clothes. They had vintage silk sets and robes on one rack. I can't wait to go back and get some. They also had antique nick nacks like porcelain ballerinas, silver candle stick holders, retro glass drink sets with gold detailing, cute pieces of jewelry and sunglasses. The two ladies running it were very nice and so friendly. The space is small so please be respectful and careful when moving around. They take tap pay.

It's a fairly small boutique but I loved that about it because it made my shopping experience more intimate. The time I went there the A/C was broken. I was fine but I felt so bad for the ladies that worked there. Speaking of which the people that work there are so friendly and helpful. They were getting in some of their fall clothes in so their summer stuff was on the outs but I'll definitely be going back there for their fall collection. Not only are the clothes really stylish but their jewelry is really cute as well. Will definitely be going back in a few months when they have all their fall stuff.

All the staff in the store was really on top of everything and were constantly restocking the racks and getting things organized. It was a great thrifting experience.

Owner, Anthony Ryan (yes, the winner of Project Runway All Stars, has an amazing gift of knowing exactly what type amd color of clothing works for your body! I've been frequenting his shop probably since he opened and he never fails! I literally do not need to try anything on when I go to this shop...he just knows and he's THAT good! Upon entering his shop, you're awed with the colors and creativity that he, himself, has created. Everything from his handmade hats, to clothing and jewelry. And if it doesn't fit, he has a sewing room in the back(where all the magic happens) where he can hem items for you. Today, I purchased a beautiful yellow blazer ("you're definitely a warm tone", says Anthony) and a white semi-cropped white knit top ("you love neutrals", he also says). He knows me! I was hesitant to purchase the cropped top due to my insecurities about my body. But Mr. Couleur Blinde' assured me that it's all in my head. So I'm stepping out in it without trying anything on. Today is his grand opening at his new location on Broadway next to Paloma Blanca. He's open until 9pm tonight so go check it out! The prices are reasonable and he has a couple of 50% off racks. You'll definitely find something you like even if it's the wine and chocolate-covered cranberries. And you won't be disappointed!

Just ask Ryan for help, and he'll put together some amazing outfits to fit your occasion!read more

My friend and I wandered in on a lazy day to browse the cards, books and jewelry we saw from the outside. The store was super quiet and both staff members (including a young girl that brushed by me and a man cuddling with a tiny, rat-like dog) didn't say hello to us. I finally looked at the staff member and smiled, asking him about his little dog. The dog proceeded to run over to me for some affection (no wonder considering how emotionally chilly that place was!). The store had some neat things, including body wash from France, thick books on architecture and handmade cards, but we didn't stay long. The warmest reception I got was from the little doggy and he was the only one that looked sad when I left.

AND a cute little swag bag with a few perfume samples (one i fell in love with) I'm a fan of designer clothes that you can't find around at Macy's or Neiman marcus. Boutiques are cute, small, and personal like this one. The decor is light and bright. The owner Suzanna was so sweet when I asked about her bags and was kind of enough to hid it for me so it wouldn't be snagged by another customer. I love shopping at this place, its very trendy and they catered to my friend's 4 year old son who also attended the event. Not snobby at all and that's how I like it.
