Been a decade since last visit, was a regular for many years. Craving a all time favorite Botona only $20 , outrageous huge perfect. We shared and still took half home . Super cheap lunch specials under $10 M-F , we gotta go back soon . Shout out to Aubrey for the five star service, you rock. Easy to find on Ford Road one block off Telegraph. I've been coming here for years, I really like the chips and the salsa is ok. I usually just get things made with beans and cheese, because I don't care for their taco meat. I do like pork enchiladas there, though. This time around, my friend and I sat at the bar. The food was just ok, the chips were fried too dark for me. We went on a Monday when the house margarita is $7 on special (normally $9). Not that long ago it was $3 on special and $5 normally. They are just made with Daly's margarita mix, so they aren't all that special and not very costly to make. When I looked at my receipt at home, I was charged regular price. Our bill was $58 total, I gave $50 cash and put the $8 ,plus tip on the card. I was charged the credit card processing fee on the whole thing (including the $50 paid in cash). I was so annoyed when I noticed that when I was at home, if I go back, I'll only pay in cash and I'll look over the receipt thoroughly.

Blackberry Margarita YUMM!!

The service was absolutely perfect. The server recommended a blackberry margarita pitcher and it was nice! The food was pretty. Taco salad needed more beef in it. It was full of toppings tho. I wish things didn't taste so bland.

Mexican Fiesta is so good. I have tried many items and they are always delicious. I tried the Fiesta Bowl this time and it may be my favorite. It is so much food and evenly distributed down to the bottom with the chicken. It is very filling and I used it for two meals. Fresh avocados make it extra tasty.

Fish tacos, with some good fish (though not enough) under all that vegetation. The rice is not bad, but the refried beans are really bland.

I have not been to Mexican Fiesta in about 20 years. We used to have holiday parties, going away parties, and promotion parties here, I have fond memories of the place. I wondered how much it changed in the last 20 years. The exterior and the entrance look exactly like they did 20 years ago. There is still a small stage near the bar, and there are a still large, separate dining rooms. It felt a little bit like coming home. The fact that it looks the same is a tribute to management's focus on keeping everything looking new and clean. The real standout here are the tortilla chips. You get complementary baskets, with free refills, and a choice of hot and mild sauce. They are perfectly crispy, and likely came from Mexican Town. unfortunately, the food also tasted like it did 20 years ago. You get an option of two sides with your main dish, and I picked baked beans and rice. The rice was good. I would have liked a bit more seasoning, but I didn't mind the rice. the refried beans are the type you get in most Mexican restaurants: they are just a smear of bland, brownish gray stuff. I ordered the fish tacos, because they did not have it on the menu 20 years ago. The fish is good. It tastes like fresh cod. But, you don't get very many of these delicious nuggets in your taco. They cover it with a huge amount of shredded lettuce. Most surprising was how expensive it was. The fish taco plate cost $15. I added a side of guacamole, and bought a Diet Coke. The price at the register was $28.87. And, no, a gratuity was not included in the price. I felt like the guy on the insurance commercial about people turning into their parents. This was the one where a guy goes to pay for his salad, and it's $19, and he tells the cashier he didn't pay for the entire table. I seriously would have given the review and extra star if it weren't for the price. It's not great, except for the chips, but everything is decent. It's not worth it for the price.

If you're a Dearborn or Dearborn Heights native, you KNOW Mexican Fiesta. It's been the go to spot for families, sports team, and budding romances for years. This place is always pretty busy, and this Friday night was no exception. The service, however, was excellent. You get house made chips with both hot and mild salsas very quickly once seated. I enjoy their salsa- it always tastes fresh and tangy, although it's thin (classic restaurant style salsa.) The atmosphere is cozy- the lighting is dim, there are flairs of authentic Mexican art and murals throughout, and plenty of space. The cantina area doubles as a sports bar, while the rest of the restaurant has snug tables and booths for a sit down dining experience. I enjoyed my favorite dish, the crispy flour chicken and cheese tacos with a side of rice and beans. The beans do not have pork, which is good to know for many dietary needs. The rice has subtle flavor and pairs well with the beans. The tacos I mentioned taste decadent to me- I love the combination of chicken and cheese with the texture of the crispy flour taco shells. The lettuce adds moisture and texture to each bite. My boyfriend went the more authentic route with tacos Al carbon. He added onions and cilantro to enhance the flavor of the steak, and for soft corn tortillas. These are more like street tacos. The steak was great- very flavorful. The corn tortillas were well grilled and lightly crisped. This restaurant has tasty food and feels like an old family restaurant with decorations put up 30 years ago and never changed... lol! We didnt love the neon lights in the cantina, but we get it- it's the bar area. For 5 stars, we would've liked a little less grease all around, hotter chips, and perhaps some Mexican music. The virgin drinks for $5 were a great add and a lot of fun. For a laid back, fun evening, definitely check out Mexican Fiesta at THIS location (the best in my opinion.)

Watch your receipt for an extra charge. Even if you are paying cash they still charge you a credit card service fee.

After learning we had never been here before, he answered our questions and gave recommendations of menu items based on our preferences. Because of this, we decided to eat here and through our whole ordering process he was transparent about spice levels and any other considerations. We ordered tacos - two steak for her and one chicken and one ground beef for me. Both with a side of rice and beans. The hot sauce is nicely spicy. The white sauce was fantastic, it is the type of sauce I would put on everything if I could. The taco shells with the cheese cooked onto them, in addition to the fillings and sauces, resulted in some extremely delicious tacos. The chicken taco easily is one of the best tacos I've had, it was that good. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. Special thanks to Abe for converting us from tourists to customers - we are eagerly anticipating our next visit!

We usually go for a good fajita (of any of the flavors, all are delicious) or a monster burrito to share (jam-packed with rice, meat and veggies so enough to share)! Chori queso and fried ice cream usually round out our meal. The staff is amazing. Everyone is so kind and efficient, it really is a treat to go out and support this business. The place is usually pretty packed, but there is a bar for a solo date and huge tables for bigger gatherings as well (I had my 30th birthday here and it was a blast)!

I told the guy I didn't need the rice or beans but he brought it anyway for some reason. My dad wanted his rice and beans, so maybe he was confused. I don't know if our server was new or not. My dad had to ask twice for his Pepsi and I had to ask a second time for the salsa. I requested to go with my tacos. The wait time wasn't long since it was during the week and early enough in the night so that was nice. I'm used to waiting a very long time here. It's always very busy and crowded here. I also asked for a to go queso sauce I told him I didn't need the chips. He totally forgot about that as well and then brought the bill. I was very annoyed that I had to ask a second time and then he wanted to charge $11 for that he insisted that he takes back the bill and adjust it and I said oh you're going to charge me for that even though you already brought the bill and I've had to ask twice okay at this point I was so annoyed but I gave him back the bill anyways so he could adjust for it. I didn't know just the dip was $11. I would have re thought a carry out. I told him I didn't need the chips because we have chips at home. I don't know if they changed their rice recipe but the rice was extremely dry and flavourless. I took a few bites and it was hard to choke down overall I really like this place but I'm really second-guessing even coming back because the taco food truck that's down the street from my house is much better than this at this point and the prices are crazy. I didn't know how much the prices have changed. My dad got a burrito rice and beans. I got three tacos and we got a carryout queso and the bill was almost $60.?!?! this definitely was not exceptional service by any means I am keeping three stars because out of the other experiences I have had here this is just one not so good one usually we have come here and it's been great. My parents have come here a few times in 2025. I used to come here with them in 2024 and before I know they have been open for over 10 years more like 15 years but I don't know what has changed recently.

After a long December day doing things, I didn't want to do (too much work too little time.) my wife and I stopped at our favorite restaurant for dinner. The food is always outstanding, and as the restaurant emptied (we were dining a bit later, and it was very cold outside.) Layla sat and chatted with us. The food was fast, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very comforting after a long day. Layla is the "bestest" . Taco's were well made, with double corn tortillas, packed full of meat , no skimping here, and just cilantro and onions. Definately very authentic Mexican style taco's and not the Americanized versions you find throughout the area. My only qualm, which was minor, was that the meat was lacking the seasoning I like when in Mexico which gives the flavor pop that I personally like. I took care of this with some salt and pepper along with salsa to tune the taco to my personal taste. Relative to the Salsa, there was a walk up Salsa bar with multiple Salsa's to select from which I truly liked and reminded me of one of my favorite Taco Joints in Puerto Vallarta, Taco's Revolution. These salsa bars, are quite convenient and act as a "Fixing bar" that allows you to tailor the taco to your personal taste. I have not seen this before in this area and wished more businesses did it. They also need to add the cucumbers (dont knock it till you try it) and some onions as well to complete the fixing bar. (: Food comes with gratis nicely mildly seasoned chips which I really liked. The seasoning is more than just salt, quite tasty and unique to this business, Very nice! Relative to the facility and staff, the restaurant is a no frills operation and has a relatively small footprint with a limited number of tables which is probably something to keep in mind during peak dining hours. Clearly they let the food do the talking here. Staff is very friendly with prompt service and good follow up throughout. Overall a very good Mexican restaurant as reflected in the good Yelp reviews. Immediately then I knew it was a bad place. I then proceeded to say it in an American accent only to be disappointed by the fact that they don't even have that. The most BASIC DRINK any "Mexican" place has is either Horchata and Jamaica and they have neither. I got "chile" with my burrito, but received borderline water.
