I used to come here all the time when I was in Louvain-la-neuve. Their burritos are very good and can be easily split between two people with how big they are. They have vegetarian options such as quorn for a meat replacement. The owner is really nice and i've seen him work their from the beginning. A good price for how much food you get but be careful guacamole costs extra! read more

History

Established in 2015.

Ce concept est né lors de nombreux voyages aux Etats-Unis de la part des 2 gérants. Beaucoup de concepts traversent l'Atlantique mais celui de la restauration mexicaine n'avait pas encore atteint la Belgique. L'idée a donc pris forme et c'est au bout de plusieurs mois de travail et d'adaptation du concept aux modes de consommation européens qu'est né le premier fastfood mexicain sain de Belgique. L'adaptation a été faite au niveau du restaurant en lui-même en créant une ambiance chaleureuse. Mais aussi et surtout au niveau des recettes qui ont été retravaillée par des chefs étoilés afin que la nourriture mexicaine soit plus appréciable (bien que déjà délicieuse) par le palais européen.

The Dutch people consider fries to be their main course, not an appetizer. Therefore places like this are quite packed during lunch and dinner times. RPEL also has gourmet dipping sauces to accompany your fries with such as mayo, Belgian mayo, BBQ, curry sauce, applesauce (a German thing) and their new citrus and truffle mayos. The citrus had the nice touch of actual lime zest sprinkled on it, and the truffle mayo was definitely delicious. They also have a variety of other friend foods to snack on. Yes. Yes I would definitely go back.

J'en sors. C'est copieux, frais, rapide et sympa. Les gérants ont 23 et 25, bravo les gars c'est génial. J'y retournerai quand j'aurai digéré tout ça ! Je me rends compte que c'est assez salé comme nourriture : j'ai beaucoup bu par la suite. Peut être pas toutes les semaines mais j'y retournerai. This place just opened. Burritos are generous and tasty. Prepared using fresh ingredients on the spot. Take-away or sit-down. If you choose to eat on site you will enjoy a nicely renovated environment where you can relax or work (WiFi). Young and friendly staff. Good stuff! read more
