Chris was very patient helping me to choose a menu in a price range that worked well for me. We did a largely Asian theme and everything was great! Our meal included a noodle salad (with asian vegs), grilled eggpplant, garlicky green beans, chicken sate and a beef kabob. He also made a platter of lovely cookies and bars for dessert which were very popular. The service was prompt and everything was very nicely plated. I would highly recommend BLF for your next catered event.

http://cateringtoyou.net/…read more I recently helped with a small 50-person meeting reception and used Catering to You for the decor, food and drinks. Cindy and her staff arrived plenty of time before the event to setup tables and decor. Cindy did an amazing centerpiece (Mocha colored roses? inside a vintage birdcage!) which matched with the gorgeous table cloth color. She provided an awesome spread of food (veggie platter-came with asparagus!, cocktail shrimps, cheeses, crackers, **super yummy garlic flavored baguette**, pasta salad and much more). Staff did a great job refilling food as they were running low, which made it felt like we had unlimited about of shrimps :) And plenty of drinks to go around. Cindy was friendly and funny to talk to. She has great ideas about planning events and locations suggestions. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food that was provided. I am looking forward to work with Cindy again at other events!

I cannot say enough good things about the amazing job Cindy did in our special day! She was very easy to work with, punctual, thoughtful, and professional! The food was really wonderful. We got so many positive comments about the food which is rare for a wedding with 150 guests! Usually wedding food is bland and dry but all of the tenderloins and chicken were cooked perfectly! They did a great job dealing with any issues that came up through the evening such as guests who forgot what they ordered and so on! She brought a bar tending team as well who were tips certified and they were really on top of things throughout the night. They even managed to gauge the amount of alcohol needed to be put on ice which was nice since everything not iced at the end of the night we could return to our alcohol distributor for a refund! Cindy took care of so many little and big details and had a lot of great suggestions which made my DIY wedding so much less stressful such as ordering the glasses and dishes as well as renting ovens needed for the venue since my venue didn't have one! I was also so surprised the next morning when I went back to the venue to clean and found that Cindy ad her team even cleaned up a bunch of our decorations! The venue itself looked great and her team did a good job with furniture arrangements and place settings, everything looked amazing. Overall I would highly recommend catering to you for any event! They went above and beyond!

Now this company has gotten to the point where they are making knowingly false comments to…read morethird-parties in an attempt to blackmail me into taking my reviews down. This behavior is beyond unprofessional, which was my grievance in the first review to begin with -- not that they made a mistake with my order, but that their response to their mistake was rude and unprofessional. There were several points since MAY this situation could have come to a peaceful end, or at least an end, period. They could have refunded me and the issue would have been resolved and I would have updated my review to reflect that. They could have done nothing, or they could have responded to the reviews myself and my family left, and then we all move on with our lives. Instead, she decided to make up factious stories for no other reason then to defame and harass me. I once again question how many people were bullied into taking down honest reviews because this company is willing to resort to unethical tactics to try and suppress bad reviews. I stand behind my original review and every time this business decides to take irrational and spiteful actions against me, whether it be through her lawyers or members of her family stalking my Linkedin profile, I am more convinced in my assessment that this business is unprofessional. Since Sara has already responded to my review and I've written my rebuttal, I personally see no reason to update my review or to write new ones. However, if she continues to slander me, then I will continue to update my reviews to reflect the chaos that she is deciding to perpetuate. I will, however, under no circumstances, take down my reviews. The facts stated are truthful and the conclusions I've come to are my opinion.
