Instead of being apologetic at all they had us see a PA that was their and available. (Jennifer Sala) She completely disregarded my concerns. When I tried to ask about getting a biopsy the doctor said they don't use any numbing agent in front of my 7 year old daughter, clearly making her very upset. What dermatologist doesn't use any numbing when taking a biopsy. Would never suggest going her unless you like waiting and are into pain.

The Skin Centre has its own doors (so no communal doors and trying to find suite #4). Lots of parking. The waiting room surprisingly small, but has about 7 chairs. It's clean, open, and gets lots of sunshine. The receptionist is friendly and takes care of things quickly. The patient rooms have really cool chairs. These chairs are electronically adjustable and can go all the way flat, up to almost chest height or down to the ground. Had lots of fun playing elevator w/ my baby on these chairs while we were waiting (shhhhh). We saw Dr. Abdulla (who was recommended by our pediatrician). She was very friendly, very practical, and great at explaining things. The wait time wasn't too bad (maybe 10-15 mins) and she seemed very sure of herself and of her diagnosis. I was happy at how flexible the office was to squeeze us in on a Saturday when we called on Monday. Also - they were able to squeeze me in there too, saving me a second trip the next weekend. Overall, I think this is a nice and friendly place to go for all your dermatologist needs. And instead of writing a prescription, the Dr. prefers to get the address/number/general location of your pharmacy so she can call in the prescription directly. For a doctor to call a young patient and say you're crying makes me uncomfortable is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. She is clearly unprofessional and heartless. (even though i'm from the community) politely and with out making small talk ( as a busy doctor that always has a packed waiting room with a month waiting for reg. appointments) i visited Dr. Strenger, about a growth on my thigh, and by the way showed him a little pink mole that was intermittently bleeding - I had shown this to my regular doctor who dismissed it - but when Dr Strenger looked at it (for a second) without "saying much" cleaned the area then took out a razor and a tiny container, sliced it off, and told me its probably nothing but i'm sending it in to the lab for a biopsy. as it turned out it was a melanoma mole, but thanks to Dr. Stringer it was caught very early so i didn't need any treatment as it didn't spread. when I went to "Memorial sloan hospital" to one of the highest professionals on melanoma for surgery he told me i should be very thankful to my dermatologist for testing that mole as it was a very rare type that he might have not recognized as a dangerous mole, had we not removed surgically that mole it could have spread very fast. so While I thank GOD for sending mew to the right doctor I have to thank the Doctor himself. BTW I once asked DR. Strenger how he diagnoses so quickly and he said if you cant diagnose in the first 10 seconds you cant diagnose. I've been to Dr Strenger many times since and were always treated very professionally, A Dermatologist is not a shrink to spend his and his patients waiting on girly talk cause a patient is lonely before his wedding.

As I approached my 40's i knew it was time to start preventative aging treatments which included photo rejuvenation, lasers, some Botox and of course medical grade facials on a bi monthly basis. Although all these treatments all worked like a charm I of course was ready for just a little more after three years of the same treatments. After doing some internet research along with talking to friends, i discovered the miracle of the Ultherapy treatment. After seeing my friends results along with the rave reviews throughout social media and internet I knew it was something I wanted to try. The only downfall here was that everyone had always said how painful the treatment can be. Not afraid of pain, I wasn't too concerned and went ahead with my first treatment. All I can say is it was far from an easy and comfortable procedure as I had refused any numbing cream or other medications that would have made the procedure easier to endure. I overestimated my pain threshold and was NOT looking foward to treatment number two within the next few months. After voicing my concerns to Dr. Roche she immediately assured me that The next treatment will be much easier if I simply don't refuse the pain management options she provides. Skip to treatment number two which i was reluctantly looking foward to . This time I said, OK give me my options. Dr. Roche and the staff immediately knew what I needed. After some topical numbing cream, a Valium to relax me during the procedure ( and only if I had someone to pick me up after the procedure was completed ), and dental block injections which numbed the areas being treated I was ready to endure. Needless to say, I found my second Ultherapy treatment to be the most pleasant, pain free treatments I have received to date. I had an audiobook on for the next hour and was happy for her to do even the most difficult area which is neck for most people. For anyone considering this treatment but are reluctant due to the fear of pain it may cause I would HIGHLY recommend getting the procedure done with Dr. Roche. Ultherapy has amazing results and if you are able to endure it especially with minimal to no pain then go directly to the Elizabeth Roche Med Spa. I can absolutely attest to the effectiveness of all the treatments I have received as well as the exceptional professional staff and office enviornment that is maintained. Maintaining our beauty and youth is already a continuous process ... Why make it more difficult then it has to be. ;) ...
