I have only gone once so far, and bought a package of six for a small area and a medium area. My skin wasn't red and didn't hurt at all afterwards. It is a weird feeling while the laser is zapping, but nothing more painful than being waxed. I'm looking forward to going back and seeing the success in this. I'll update my review after that! Update: This was a great decision! It really does permanently remove hair. I did my six sessions for each area, and by the fourth - I barely had anything. The laser itself didn't hurt as much as I was expecting, but then again I had my underarms done so I don't know a different area like face or bikini line would feel. The main confusion I felt the first time I went was where the office was actually located- It's INSIDE the Nail Art Clinic, in the back. Also, I wasn't sure whether to tip or not, because I've heard mixed opinions, but I think you should since it's not a doctor's office. I no longer live in the area so I probably won't be going back due to the long drive, but if I lived in Rockland I would definitely still go.

Poor communication and delays: It took me over 5 months to schedule a filler appointment last year because the manager, Mai, did not respond to my repeated emails (attached). I only got a response once I called the office, and even then, it felt like I was chasing them just to give them my business. 2. Inconsistent and misleading pricing: I was originally quoted $575 for under-eye filler in writing (attached) but was later charged $700 for the same service. This inconsistency in pricing is unacceptable, especially when it is clearly documented in their own emails. 3. Clinic-to-clinic confusion - I was quoted $1,500 for 2 syringes of PDGF in Park Ridge ($3,000 for 4), but later told by Millburn staff that their baseline price was actually $1,800 for 2 syringes. Most importantly, when I specifically asked Park Ridge if the 20% off promo at Millburn would apply to the same service and was told yes, no one told me that Millburn's pricing was higher. That critical detail should have been mentioned upfront so I could make an informed decision. Overall, between the lack of responsiveness, the long wait just to schedule, and the bait-and-switch style pricing, I cannot recommend SkinSpirit. Patients deserve transparency, consistency, and respect for their time, none of which I experienced here.

They had a one room operation out of a chiropractors office, but they were so sweet, and patient, and professional it was a wonderful experience. I purchased 6 laser hair removal sessions, but timed it all wrong and wound up graduating long before I was able to use them all. I only went to two sessions and then moved to NYC and was not willing to make the hour drive to finish out my sessions. Even with just the two sessions I completed, my hair became so fine and thin and light that I could shave with ease and it was so much easier to deal with. No more red bumps and ingrown hairs.This lasted for YEARS, until I got pregnant and I guess a fresh batch of hormones woke my dead follicles! So I just purchased another package (I assumed my old one had expired, but I am please to informed that it didn't so I have 4 more sessions left over from 6 years ago!) and started going again. They have grown so much, they now have their own location (not inside a doctors office) and it is so bright and clean and welcoming. I got there 30 minutes early and had to wait about 5-10 minutes while they finished up the lady before me and then I was seen. I did a medium area and a small area and I was in and out in 2-3 minutes TOPS! I was in my car on my way home by 6:45pm, which was actually the time my appointment was supposed to START. I love this place and the staff so much, that driving 40 minutes doesn't even phase me. The price is still SO much cheaper than anything reputable by me. The Process isn't nearly as painful as some make it seem. I would liken it to MILD tattoo pain. The smell of burning hair is honestly more uncomfortable than the "pain." I wouldn't even classify it as "pain" more like discomfort. But I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Some advice, you cannot treat an area that is TAN IN ANY WAY. If you lie and say its not tan and they treat the area, you risk severe burns. I had a friend go to a very SHADY place (NOT NU-SKIN) and they didn't ask if she was tanned, they just treated her stomach and she got 3rd degree burns and is now involved in a law suit. Also cannot get laser hair removal if you are on antibiotics or certain other photosensitive drugs.

I was not disappointed and recommend checking her out if you're in the area - even if you're not, it's worth taking the drive as I did myself. Also a huge plus she's so sweet. Only con was I was informed the service would cost me $50. When going up to the desk to pay I was charged $65. Not sure why it went up $15 dollars.
