This particular repair company was particularly honest - they told me that I could use their service and they would attempt to repair the rip. However, they leveled with me that the best option would be to contact Wichterman's. They said that Wichterman's keeps a wide variety of products in stock, and can quickly recover the area in question. I dropped my car off in Chanhassen on a Tuesday night. I had an email at 2 pm the next day saying the repairs are all done. And they did a REALLY nice job. The seat looks completely new. And the best part is the cost was exceptionally reasonable. Honestly, it wasn't much more than the quotes I received for a mobile team to come out and try to fix it with a heat gun and reseal it (which would have shown a repair had been done). The Volvo seemed perfect--especially because the seat felt comfortable enough for her bad back when she test drove it.
