I found out tonight they do not have a 24 hour maintenance department for emergencies (ie suicidal tenants barricaded in a unit with a possible firearm) No wonder why the rating is so low. In the beginning, Advance was right there with their empty promises and lies saying that they were going to help with the water damage. The insurance game took forever, and one of the maintenance guys helped me a lot with it, but ghosted me after he figured out that I wasn't interested in his little quid pro quo fantasy. Whenever I would ask Advance how things were coming along, they would placate, deflect and avoid. After several months of their lackadaisical behavior, my downstairs neighbor and I started talking with outside contactors. Then, lo and behold they were all of a sudden interested in our issue again. I figured what the hell, seeing as how any incompetence on their part would be much easier to go after, so I gave in and let their guy do the job. Finally, this nightmare is over! My unit is getting fixed! LOL, yeaaaahhhh no. I came home the day they were to start the job only to find my sink and toilet carelessly plopped in my living room with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the bathroom having been touched. No phone call, no note, no explanation. Once again, I am chasing these tools around for answers and am getting nowhere. I must point out that the individual who managed my old complex's account is beyond worthless. She plays dumb when she answers the phone, but then again, that IS her natural role so old habits die hard; never responds back to emails or voicemails; and she never takes ownership of anything. The real reason that the job in my bathroom was abandoned is because my bully of a neighbor called up threatening them and they ran away like the cowards that they are. The only person man enough to explain the situation was the association president. APM has no business dealing with the public and it's the eighth wonder that they are even still in business. Avoid any properties that use them as a property management company.

In 2019 my back steps area was worked on looked unworkmanlike. I had a leaking gutter repaired. The nails are all popping out. I even know screws should of been used. I was told by Diane it was fine. Two years later it's still leaking and I've waited all past spring and summer. They will give you every excuse in the book for delays and why a request wasn't repaired also give you false pretense as to when it will be repaired. Now I see why over 8 owners have sold in the past two years. Time to get out before the complex goes to shambles. Incredible!
