I'd advise seeking a different physician/location. The clerical staff and nurses are fine. They actually listen very well.

The staff at the Detroit location is completely devoid of…read moreempathy -- the office staff has consistently been dismissive and rude, their on-call doctor had made some very inappropriate comments to me when I called about a serious concern (I can't repeat it, but know that it was crossing the line). I think the worst for part for myself was that I was not given the courtesy of a phone call by my OB when I had miscarried -- just a cold test result with medical jargon unceremoniously dumped onto the portal. When I called to ask if anyone would talk to me about the test results, the office staff said "look on the portal, the results are there" and only agreed to have the OB call me back (after a VERY long hold time to boot) after I burst into tears and asked for more explanation regarding the results. Additionally, only one of my visits seem to have been billed to my insurance company despite having called them to request confirmation that they all were sent to the company, causing additional headaches and added red tape on top of what was already an objectively traumatizing experience. If you at all value having your pregnancy treated with care, this is simply not the place. A low-frills, high-stress experience that I wish on nobody.

This year I've seen her a lot since I'm expecting :) She's so helpful with everything. I'm going to be a first time mother and my husband and I always ask a million questions, some of which I'm sure are stupid. She never makes us feel stupid and answers every single one and never rushes us out. The front office staff is also super pleasant and nice. They've always gotten us back there to a room pretty quick as well. They really try to work with you and accommodate you as much as possible too.
