Okay. Story time. Buckle up, it's a long one. Let's go back…read moreto 2021-2022. I picked out some awesome vinyl floor. Had it installed by the RUDEST and probably not qualified contractors they could find. The "boss" on the job actually stole my husband's sunglasses (he called me 3 days later and admitted he took them, offered to return them and I never heard from him again.) There are gaps between the floor and the wall. The quarter round they installed wasn't done correctly because it was pulling away from the wall THE NEXT DAY. My favourite part was we had a small divot in our cement layer. Instead of filling it like good contractors do, they laid the floor over it. Fast forward to today, 2024. That divot? Is obviously now a problem. Our floor is cracking and tearing over the divot. Because OF COURSE IT IS. I called to ask about starting a service request. We knew we were out of the install warranty, but not the floor warranty (it's lifetime supposedly.) I was ASSURED they would figure something out. This was the beginning of May 2024. It is now almost September. Mid June 2024 my case manager called me and said they can't get the contractors out to do the repair inspection because they're no longer contracted. That's not surprising given the shoddy work they do. However, that was quite literally the last time I heard from ANYONE. No emails. No phone calls. Radio silence. Until August 9th. I received a "We received your repair estimate!" email. What? Who did it? No one called me. Havnt spoken to a live person in months. So now they're falsifying records. That's cool I have been calling or emailing weekly at least since. Nothing. In the meantime the damage has spread because we can't not walk on our floors. We even have another crack forming in a completely different area! So now my case manager is dodging calls. Real professional that one. Don't buy from these people. They're only out to screw you over. Update to today: Spoke to my case manager today. He was rude, unhelpful, kept talking over me, called me a liar (kept telling me I never received that email, because how could I have when they never came out to do it?) and finally hung up on me because I was yelling (I was on my car speaker phone). Just received an email that I am out of warranty (no shit) and they were not going to help me. I am so glad I spent 4000$ at this company.

Installation of our CoreLuxe waterproof vinyl floor went very smoothly and right on time. Installers were professional and the clean up was impressive and appreciated. The LL Flooring website is so user friendly and I especially like the "see floor in your home" feature using photos of each room. Followup communication was extensive and informative. I don't think you can go wrong with these guys and their products

Beware Lincolnites! In a nutshell: CarpetLand had unacceptable customer service (post-installation)…read moreand very low quality control with wood floor installation. The owner is rude and will not work with you if you have problems with installation. We had an installer who did not use good judgement in installing our wood floor. More than a dozen planks he glued down (we do not have a subfloor) were visibly damaged and defective. I think 99% of people would discard these particular planks -- or at the very least, set them aside for a closet or other less visible area. The guy's response to our concerns: "That's just how it is." It is not like we ran the risk of not having enough wood... he either didn't pay attention to amount of wood available or simply didn't care about quality. We ended up with an entirely unopened box of leftover wood that clearly could have been used, but instead, the installer decided to permanently install damaged wood. After a long delay, 2 guys came back out to "fix" some of the problems. The putty just makes it look dirty and gross texture that will inevitably attract dirt and dog hair. Sigh... why!?? It is so disappointing to have saved up, waited for so long to have our "forever floor" put in -- and now have it be messed up. It was expensive -- and a lot of this turmoil could have been avoided with more common sense. To top it off, the owner was not responsive to phone calls --- and was super rude to my husband when he was finally was able to get a hold of him. I do NOT recommend CarpetLand. The poor quality control and disrespectful treatment is NOT worth the slightly lower bid they gave us we had compared to other local vendors.
