Greg did an incredible job. There really was virtually no dust. Summary: -On time, respectful -Clear communicator -Dust-free -Efficient -Competitive pricing -Thorough job, done well He was on time every single time and was good about communicating his timing or other commitments. If he had another appointment, he would be clear about that when he arrived and he would let us know an expected job time each day. There were a couple times where he finished before I returned home (when I was running errands, let's say), and he closed the door and cleaned up. I wish I had a better "before" photo, so enjoy a photo including my dog. We wanted to maintain the floors but needed to refinish them because there was sun damage from the previous owners and you could see where their large rug used to be. Nothing terrible, but it could only be fixed by sanding the floors and refinishing them. Greg eventually told us that it looked like the job before was done by the owner (or someone else who didn't really know what they were doing). There was also existing damage to some boards in the corners of the rooms and he was very clear about it being an extra cost. He found these after he had started the job. He gave us the option to redo them - gave us counsel but did not pressure us one way or the other. (We did have them replaced because we wanted to do it right!) The floors before were an orange-ish color and since we were only refinishing them and not staining them, I was surprised at how beautiful they turned out. I did not realize how beautiful the natural color of the floor was. It was worth every penny and his price was competitive. Lastly, I'll mention that the rooms had been freshly painted and I asked him to be respectful of the new baseboards and he absolutely was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Grey Fayton is an amazing one man floor fixer! My first ever home and he made it look brand new even though it was built in 1949. The house previously had carpet and whoever installed it put a million staples and even nails everywhere in the original hard wood floors. There were also a lot of pet stains! Greg was able to get eveything fixed up, sanded and stained a perfect shade to make it look brand new and no stains could be seen. He also did it for a great price compared to all the other estimates I received and was able to start the soonest as well. Finished two bedrooms, a living room, hallway and dining room plus closets within around 2 weeks. Called, came out rapidly and on time to estimate. Estimate ended up being very close to what I ended up paying. His estimate was the lowest plus he had great references already. Greg the owner was very interested in my job and helped me via e-mail on picking out material (I had a lot to learn but he made it simple). After 20+ years of meaning to refinish the oak floors in our three front rooms, we went with Greg and his crew, particularly because of their promise of a DUSTLESS procedure.
