His price point isn't low but it isn't high either. Actually by the end I thought he had really underquoted me, given the quality of the work and how much time he put into it. There were no hidden surprises in the final bill and he fixed anything I wasn't happy with as we went along (very few things) without fuss or extra expense. He had lots of ideas for special and cool features and I am so happy with the final result. The job took longer than he originally estimated, not because he took off for other work but because he has exceptional attention to detail and won't settle for anything less than a perfect finish. He discussed every aspect of the job and every decision in detail (maybe too much detail!) and managed the other tradies (plumber, sparky). It's been about a year now since the renovation and I am still thrilled with it. Anders is incredibly honest, transparent and accountable - so refreshing! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will definitely hire him for any new projects as well as any little jobs around the house if he's available (I've had him back to rehang a couple of doors that have come out of alignment).

They have a full choice of paint on site, and can tint to whatever shade you desire, as any good paint show should. I have picked up a couple of mis-tints here that perfectly fitted my needs, so my relationship with this store got off to a good start. I have been back for basic painting and sanding supplies a few times since. That is all lovely, but it is decorating that Bristol comes into its own. With many thousands of wall paper samples, God only knows how many swatches of other options, and helpful staff, this is a decorator or renovator's dream.

There are question marks remaining as to the structural integrity of the balcony and they refuse to certify and guarantee the works they performed despite numerous requests. They have ruined the pavers in my courtyard by putting down seal whilst raining and walking their muddy shoes all over the surface. The mud is now permanently sealed in. Despite performing remedial works, including stripping back the sealer to remove the mud, they remain blemished. They have now given up on trying to remove the damage caused and refuse to reimburse money. These guys use unskilled workers who need constant supervision. They refuse to be held accountable for the mistakes they made. Most unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with.

Sulema helped me understand 90 days of Raul was not worth loosing the home we wanted. In spite of my issue with Raul I would recommend everyone to buy a Definitive Home.
