I love T2 and their Doncaster Westfield location is no exception. Yes, they may not be the cheapest…read moretea-ware around, but their designs are not only gorgeous but practical and there is something magical about the feeling you get when sipping tea from a pretty tea cup. They have beautiful tea paraphernalia and tea blends and their stores are fantastic to spend time browsing. In summer they have ice-tea samples to try which are refreshing and delightful, actually. I love their range of tea cups, saucers and teapots. They do different a number of styles from Japanese to Turkish and my I have a few of their (admittedly overpriced) Turkish tea glasses and the most beautiful purple tea pot! If your new to the tea world ask a staff member for help at the long counter. Everything you could possibly need to drink tea is found here.

Tea drinkers... T2 is your place to be - you're gonna love it!…read more T2 specializes in everything about tea - from white, yellow, green, black, Oolong, scented and organic; you can be sure to find what you're after at one of their stores. However they're not just about the tea though, they also sell a broad range of hardware or should I say teaware! (oh god that was bad!) that will certainly improve your whole tea drinking experience - tea pots, cups and saucers, bigger cups or jumbos as they call it, mugs, jugs, strainers, scoops, infusers and flasks - they have it all. I'm more of a coffee person so i'm not big on tea per se however I've given them 4 stars because.. well I like the store - cool interior and setup, the staff are very friendly, nice and knowledgeable, they have free samples for you to try - gotta love free stuffs!, and I gotta say that being inside store and walking around, I really wanted to take some of their French Earl Grey teabags home! Oh and by the way, they also sell jams, honey, extra virgin tea seed olive oil and biscuits. Yes they're not cheap but I reckon, if you're a fan, you'll find it very easy to find a reason to splurge a bit when you're in there.

Clifton Hill

Key Ingredients is culinary cuteness incarnate. From its quaintly encouraging slogan - 'real…read moreinspiration for pretend chefs' - down to its brightly coloured cooking utensils and not just metaphorically sweet ice creams, Key Ingredients is a cute, sweet little Clifton Hill cooking shop. Selling a range of cookware, utensils, gifts and gourmet foods such as truffle gnocchi and ice cream in flavours such as Turkish Delight and ethically sourced Vanuatuan vanilla, Key Ingredients could turn even the most ardent mageirocophobic into a keen cook. I lust after Key Ingredients' solid wood chopping boards, bags of pink peppercorns and the like but cookware and ingredients this pretty and unusual don't come cheap. More the shop for the occasional indulgence than somewhere to buy all of your kitchen accessories and ingredients, Key Ingredients is the perfect place to go for something special to take to a friend's house in lieu of a bottle of wine. A lovely place for a browse.

It is also the place where many people probably walk in to have a look around, come away with some fantastic ideas, and then go internet shopping. You see the very vibe of the place inspires one to think expensive thoughts at which point you do and then start thinking you'll be ripped off if you actually do buy something from here. Well I have to say that by taking a closer look around Key Ingredients that it is not really a rip off store at all. Everything is quite well priced. For sure, it does stock all kinds of French cheeses, single origin extra virgin olive oils and top of the range chef knives etc - so of course it is not a cheap shop. It is just not a rip off - that is all I am saying. So if you are in the market for some kitchen inspiration. Or maybe and most likely, you need to buy your rich aunty a Christmas present, because she has invited you round for organic turkey served up on 17th century porcelain plates, then Key Ingredients is just the kind of place you need to start looking.

STOP STOP STOP RUDE, UNRELIABLE, LIARS AND THEIVES…read more Took my kitchen splash back size to De Lucia a few months ago and ordered the number of boxes that they (Rita) advised. The tiler recommended by De lucia said that there was one box too many and I rang them the following day to amend my order. I was advised this was not possible given that the order had already been placed. After I picked up the order I left the extra box which was brand new and unopened with De Lucia and Rita said she would sell it for me. I went to their store several times to enquire about the box and was advised it had not yet been sold. On 28 April 2017 I went to their store again and after being advised again that my box of tiles had not been sold I asked if I could have it back. Rita went to the end of the store and spoke to a gentleman there. I could hear the sound of taping and wrapping from the back of the store. After a few minutes the gentleman brought out an old, torn and taped box of tiles and said here is your box and there is one tile missing (please note the size of the tiles is 90x30 cms). When I advised them this was not my box as my box was brand new, unopened and belted Rita became extremely rude and angrily and scornfully shouted "This is your F...ing box". I responded by saying why are you being so rude. All I did was ask for my brand new box of tiles. She turned around to the gentleman and said "take this box back to the storage area", sneered at me and said "You don't have a receipt for the box you left with us, go and do what the hell you like". When I said I would complain to Consumer Affairs she said "ha ha ha do what the hell you like. This behavior and attitude is totally unacceptable and I recommend that people do not trust this company especially Rita because there is a devil behind her fake smile. There are many many tile shops in Melbourne, I recommend you choose one that has courtesy and respect for its customers unlike De Lucia!

After emailing info@delucia.com.au in the morning with my request, Rita sent through photos of alternative tile options and had a sample delivered to me that afternoon. A+ and would recommend.
