Things that I like about this location: There are two ultrasound/X-Ray, diagnostic departments. One within the hospital itself and one near the Breast cancer center allowing you to have multiple dates to choose from. Based on every emergency room visit and there were too many this year, while I wasn't always 100% satisfied because I think one ER person was in a mood, but overall every time I winded up there, I always was taken care of promptly and my needs were addressed. They contact my specialists too and I feel like they take me seriously, when I go there. For surgeries, the surgical team, suite, nurses are some of the best. One post recovery nurse even gave me a handwritten get well note post procedure. My husband was informed every step of the process and I liked that I had dates that worked with my work schedule. Parking is free, unlike lame Houston. I hate being sick, you've probably noticed the lack of Yelp reviews because of it, but the only reason I'm able to yelp or even have any semblance of life is because of this facility. I am thankful for them because otherwise, I'd be stuck going to terrible hospitals, which I won't bother naming. But if you've ben to them, you know.

Iv had been hurting for over and hour and bleeding no one ever came to change it. Never returned with a menu to order food so I have not eaten all day. Gave me same exact pain meds I received from two other eR trips was told to transfer here for better pain management since they have more options. Refused to give me anything Iv (because they weren't going to treat with my pain with Iv meds ) yet they gave me morphine this morning. I told them 4 hours ago to discharge me if going to give me same exact meds that I've tried and I don't wanna waste my time being mistreated and gaslighted for my issues. Wait 5 hours later for them to give me same exact meds. So I had been there all day for no reason except another bill to add to my account. Dr finally came in 5 1/2 later when I was told she would be there soon 3 hours ago. Comes in rude af yelling at my fiancée and not giving a dam what came out of my mouth from wants and needs for help. She said I was being discharged I requested to talk to case manager, patient advocate, and social worker. Never got to talk to any of these people due to the dr being a coward and calling the fake cops of security to come to my room( 6 of them for 2 small women) it was laughable. She said u can discharge AMA bc I never said I was discharging u. I said fine no problem handed me some paper to sign which I've never was ever presented a "ama discharge form at any hospital I have been to so I refused to sign something she lied to the security about. They were more worried about me holding a vape in my hand "they are not allowed on the premises) ughhh per ur signs all over campus is says SMOKING NOT ALLOWED not having smoking products in ur belongings. Threatened to call the cops since the fake cops couldn't do anything DUH. Said we weren't allowed back in the property I said I didn't give a damn because why the hell would we come back to a place that gives no fucks about their patients. Case manager refused to speak with me due to him saying "I've seen enough and the security told me enough information" declined to get any side of my story. All of the staff stayed together to back up lies that I was told by the doctor and other nurses. The nurse is a coward and refuses to come back to speak to me to if I was going to get sent home with any meds worth a fuck but she didn't care and was "too scared" . Hence why we had 6 security come to our door while trying to leave in the first place. Absolutely unreal the lack of compassion and care for patients. Why are these people in the medical industry when they pick and choose who they actually want to help. It's absolutely Disgusting. Been working on now TWO cases with the CEO of the hospitals of st Luke's and now memorial hermann. but I'm sure memorial hermann with back up their piece of shit staff. Seeing they decked any rights of me see patient advocate and a case worker. Some people truly need their licenses revoked . Then they WERE going to send me home with acid reflux meds and stool softeners LMAO not a dam thing to do with SEVERE AXIAL SPONDYOARTHRITIS PAIN. Complete idiots.

In every department from lab, to radiation, to med onc/surg onc, rehab, pharmacy, you'll find some of the nicest most helpful people. As a survivor and as a therapist I would refer family, friends, and even myself here. Finding the center can be a bit tricky but if you just follow the directions to St Lukes Hospital off Lakepointe Pkwy., MD Anderson is attached to the hospital and the entrance is to the right of the hospital's main entrance. There are handicap parking spots in front of the entrance and a big parking lot as well as a parking garage (all free).

When we got there they kicked us out "due to covid" but it was in such a tacky and insensitive manner. As my dad began to ring the bell the security guard stopped him mid ring and said we had to leave. It was only 2 of us! I am just appalled at the delivery as the security guard was very forceful and rude. I am just in shock and wish that I could've gotten to experience that moment with him. It was sad having to watch from the outside as all of the doctors and nurses cheered him on. He wanted his family there for that beautiful moment, not strangers.

She stayed overnight for observation and Dr. Pena was wonderful, explaining diagnosis and answering all questions we had. All of the staff bent over backwards for us. In contrast, my brother needed a blood transfusion for anemia and his doctor told him to go to ER at big hospital in Katy as that would be quickest. Arrived at 3:30 pm and it was not until 5 the next morning that he got transfused. Moral of the story is St. Michaels is the place to go for professional, personal, and prompt service.

I was covered in red bumps from head to ankle--including my face, neck, back, stomach, and thighs. When I arrived, the nurses were very prompt. They immediately started an IV and drew blood in case lab work was needed. A few minutes later, the doctor came in, introduced herself, and asked what I thought might have caused the reaction. I told her that nothing in my routine had changed except that I had used a new hair conditioner the night before. She agreed that the conditioner was likely the cause. However, I was disappointed that the doctor never performed a physical examination. I was wearing long pants and a jacket, so she would not have been able to see the widespread rash unless she had actually examined me. Despite the severity of my symptoms, she chose not to inspect the affected areas or order any blood work. I was given a few pills, observed for about an hour, and then discharged. Overall, I felt the evaluation was not thorough, and I left in the same condition as when I arrived, except with a bruised arm from the needle.

From the first employee to the last all I got were angelic hellos and voices with youth and levity. At some extent I thought it nice . While still thinking there has to be a % of patronage. Nope from the moment the front desk nurse took the time to get me a pen as a souvenir- cause I made a joke that I wanted something for being a "good boy" . Everyone was absolutely great and catering. Everyone was unique and kind. Surgery went smoothly. I'm excited for the recovery. They even called to check up on me and I chatted with the nurse as real people and she answered all my questions.
