My ex-husband and I had a question about the Settlement documents that one of Divorce Resolutions mediators, Larry King, had prepared for us. We wanted clarity on this document, something that would have taken about 5-10 minutes. I assumed it was a stock form. I called and the woman I spoke to on the phone, Angie Valenzuela, had a rather haughty tone and seemed rather annoyed that I asked her a question about a previous moderator. Given the great experience I had previously and the fact that their job is to mediate, I was really shocked at her incredulous tone. Follow up email exchanges seemed to verify that. It's not worth going into detail, but she made clear that they purchased the moderator's business and that they were going to complete disassociate themselves from his work, both the good and the bad. Well, that means that I can't recommend them anymore. Unfortunately, I can't remove my review, so I am forced to leave a negative one instead. It's a shame that they're not carrying on the good tradition of Larry King's excellent service.

We hit a topic that me and my co petitioner could not agree on and instead of discussing options and trying to find alternatives Heather decided to tell me what needs to be done instead of giving any options in writing. When I disagreed upon the terms we were discussing for the parental plan at least for the time being it felt like she turned into a private attorney for the other party in my opinion. If you have child court and you see this name politely ask for another firm if you want the situation to be treated fair.
