Very competent, neutral and helpful. In a stressful situation he made our sessions productive and made sure both sides were heard.

We were both so fortunate to encounter Chris and choose mediation over other, more adversarial forms of the divorce process.

I'm British, my ex-wife is American and we had a young child together, so the circumstances were a little complex because of Geography. But Stephan always appreciated my circumstance, and was incredibly supportive and effective at negotiating fair terms for the divorce and child arrangement matters. He is always calm, and has a reassuring plan for what ever the opposite counsel throw up. At a time when you might be at one of the most venerable and stressed points in your life, this is a guy you can rely on with confidence. He'll always call/email you back, and deal with what needs to be dealt with promptly. You won't have that feeling of being left in the dark with no clue what's happening, which to me was invaluable.

He was able to explain all my options clearly and was truly looking out for my best interests. Stephan would not steer me in a direction that was not going to be to my benefit, financially or otherwise. I cannot thank him enough for the amount of time and the true emotional investment he had in my case. His responses to my many questions were almost immediate, through phone or email. At trial he was one of the most skilled attorneys I've ever seen, and I am so glad he was my attorney. I have already referred two of my friends who immediately hired him, and in the future, if I ever have any additional need for an attorney, Stephan will be the person I go to. I can't recommend him enough, and I will always be grateful for all his help and guidance during this extremely difficult time.

Katie Devries, as a lawyer for this law firm, representing my ex-wife, was caught conspiring with…read morethe magistrate assigned to the case. August 16, 2023 she was caught having pre-arranged the outcome and handling of a hearing. During this hearing, both Mrs. Devries and Magistrate Campbell, as an apparent attempt to keep all evidence off the record and to curtail all arguments and cut the hearing short, began claiming the entirety of the case was "hearsay." Things they claimed to be hearsay: Past motions filed. Transcripts from past hearings. Text messages from my son. Court-ordered parental evaluations filed into the case. Do any of these things sound like hearsay? After observing this obscene, grotesque display I thought long and hard what I had just watched. I shortly concluded I had observed a magistrate and an attorney having pre-arranged how the hearing would go. Then I thought "why would they think they could claim all these things are hearsay and I wouldn't realize they were lying to us?" It occurred to me that they probably had a strategy conversation in which they decided on hearsay rather than, say, "relevance" because they figured I'd know what relevance means and that they were lying and they figured there's a chance that I wouldn't know what hearsay is because it's a technical term? Every layperson knows what hearsay is. It's not a complex or esoteric term. Regardless, Mrs. Devries has been paying off judges, magistrates, and 3rd party professionals, then covering these bribes by entering them as billable hours. Thus. she is engaged in: Bribing government officials, racketeering, wire fraud, money laundering,...it is no exaggeration to say that Sherman and Howard is involved in organized crime. But I guess that it's effective to bribe judges for favorable rulings, so...Final note: Neither Mrs. Devries nor her law firm deny these allegations.
