Amazing coffee…read more Amazing service. One -if not, the- centre of this planet's direct-trade, with real intent to get the most tangibly-authentic coffee from the people: harvesters, growers and caretakers; the stories, and that treasured output - the coffee - into the hands of quite special people {everyone who watches HasBean.TV} - everywhere! Hasbean.tv Loads of fun information on how to brew, and massive lessons on the background of the land and the people. Get 'in touch' with what goes into making that special cup of hasbean brew in the morning, so special. This, is no ordinary coffee. Go Steve!

I have been using Has Bean for my espresso beans at home on and off for the last few years. I…read morealways enjoy trying new beans out so tend to go to different roasters to get a variety. If you enjoy a lighter roasted bean then Has Bean is for you, if it isn't then you should probably look elsewhere. I love light and dark roasts and anything inbetween but I do tend to lean more towards light so Has Bean is a thumbs up from me. i have just signed up to the 'in my mug' subscription for a weekly delivery. This works out good value as you do get some more expensive beans including postage costs for £6.50 per week. You can also sign up for 12 months which brings the cost down even more. I haven't been to the roastery but I have heard it is a nice place and the owners are very friendly. If you enjoy good coffee at home then you must try out Has Bean.

Very lovely coffee shop. We had an Americano, a mocha, & a flapjack pastry…read more The drinks were a little bitter and the public WiFi was down. Other than that, the atmosphere is wonderful, very relaxed & comfortable with its couches & cozy seating. Great place to work at! Would enjoy coming back!

This is one of those places where I found myself willing them to do better…read more.. On paper, it should have a lot going for it. It's a coffee shop, which roasts its own, and makes a lot of effort to describe where the coffee comes from (there's a map on the wall that it explains it all). It has a good location on one of the main thoroughfare arcades between St Mary's Street and the Hayes, in an area that could do with some nice coffee shops. And the staff were pleasant, too. But as a space it was extraordinarily unwelcoming. It looks as though it has been furnished on a shoestring, and not in a good way. The second-hand furniture is a weird mix of 70s wooden dining chairs (mine had failing upholstery and no padding) with more traditional tables, which just didn't work. And a lot of the spce was just empty. The gloomy black decor - ceiling, floor, and walls (a few are bare brick) - made it feel like an alternative music scene night-club. It didn't help that, on our visit, it was under-heated, so we kept our coats on, as did most of the other clientele. And, weirdly, the coffee wasn't much to crow about either. Not bad, but completely unmemorable. Add in the fact our order arrived on a grubby looking black tray, and our disappointment was complete.
