I suppose you could ask for a cup of coffee that doesn't cost the same as a complete jar would cost at the supermarket, but that's probably just my Scotish roots coming out. The trouble with this Costa is that it is inside a converted bank, and that's exactly what it feels like. The windows are all above head height even when you're standing up and, although, they've made an effort with the decor, I still find myself expecting to be tapped on the shoulder and asked if I want to open a savings account.
