My final thoughts are to make sure the handle held device has closed out (I don't know what that even means), get a receipt, or pay cash. The ordeal was unnecessary if I would have known all this beforehand. We so enjoy their pizzas and will continue to order from them. I called in and ordered a $20 pepperoni pizza. When I went to pay for it, I selected No Tip. Once I got home, I received a message from my bank saying I was charged $24.40. I called them and they fumbled with words trying to convince me I did it. Why on earth would I tip 22% for someone to literally turn around and hand me a pizza to go. In the end, they said there wasn't anything they could do. Seems like perhaps a common scheme against their customers.

I was glad a fellow Yelper mentioned this place was next to the Exxon... definitely helped since there are a couple other bars nearby. The first night (yes, went here two nights in a row!) had salad and small pizza and my ds had wings. Second night they were slammed and decided to only serve pizza. The service was adequate... they brought us the food and drinks ordered. The pizzas are really good and hand made... we spoke with the woman who throws each pie dough by hand. Both pizzas over two nights were delicious. My salad was pretty good too since it was nice leafy greens lettuce (not iceberg). There are a couple of tvs showing the main sports of the day... in our case we watched a bit of FIFA football (soccer). The AC fan was blowing into the middle of the restaurant and couldn't get away from the cold air.

The restaurant stays busy -- there was a bit of a wait, but this is a busy national park, and anywhere you go at rush is going to have a wait. The servers were fantastic, and all helped each other out. The pizza was amazing. The dough is home-made every morning, and is neither too thin nor too thick. We got a half cheese, half ground beef 12" and it fed two hungry adults. I only wish we had tried this place before our last day! Tried their Western Burger, Caesar Salad and Huckleberry Ice Cream…read more The Western Burger had bacon jam spread on of the burger patty. There were pieces of actual bacon in the sweet jam. The sweetness is the more prominent flavor. The meat patty was pretty good; beefy and buttery flavor. Came with blue cheese but you can ask for a different type of cheese. Also has side dish of your choice. My friend chose the side salad with ranch dressing. Dressing was good; almost tasted like buttermilk ranch dressing. But the spring mix salad didn't have anything else on it; no croutons nor cheese. The Caesar Chicken Salad was a huge portion and nicely plated. Choice of grilled or fried chicken. Got the fried chicken; chicken pieces with breadcrumbs coating was moist and tender. The breadcrumb coating was not salty which is good because it didn't make the salad too salty. Had lots of shaved parmesan cheese. Lots of croutons. Also had cucumber slices and tomato wedges. The Caesar salad dressing was a bit salty. I wanted the grilled chicken but staff said it will take 20min to make it but the crispy chicken will be faster. The huckleberry ice cream is a must try especially if you have not had it. It's my first time having huckleberry ice cream or any huckleberry flavored. The ice cream tasted like a cross between cherry and strawberry. The staff said it was Blue Bonnet brand from Washington. Nice staff. Big open dining room. Minimal simple decor. Good value.
