Stopped in to check out my husband's old childhood favorite pizza place and it was pretty good! I had a hamburger steak, ma had a burger and hubby had a pizza. Dessert was a pistachio pie for me and a cherry pie for ma. Hubby says it's still as good as he remembers and I must say, it was a great dinner! If you're in town to visit, this place will not disappoint! Staff are friendly and consistently checking in on us, the facility is well-kept and clean. Just moved outside of Conrad, I've been wanting to try this place! So so glad I did. We ordered a deluxe add olives and chicken strips and potato skins. Pizza was amazing!!! The place was cutely decorated, clean and inviting! Staff was so so kind and very attentive. They talked with us for a while giving us tips on places to visit in Montana and where to camp. When we arrived at 5:15, I was thrilled to see so many people moving around in the kitchen due to the labor shortage going on. Only one wait-staff though, and despite the fact that only one other person was in the dining room (and she already had her food), it took 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. But all of the people that came in after us had their orders taken a lot faster- but they all also seemed to know the waitress too. The food did not make up for the unfriendly service, but perhaps we should have gotten the pizza. My salmon was two lemon-pepper flavored pale, soggy, white, square patties. Looks like it went straight from a box in the freezer section of the grocery store to the microphone to my plate. The napkins we asked for never materialized, so I grabbed a napkin dispenser off of one of the two tables that had one (this was before anyone else came into the restaurant, from a table that was vacant). When the waitress would bus something off a table, she would drop it in the bus bin with such force that the dishes and eating utensils would rattle loud enough to disturb our conversation. I don't remember my last experience dining there, several years ago, being a bad one. But it's unlikely I will eat here again any time soon. read more

Coaches Corner has the BEST pizza in Conrad! The burgers are good. The menu lists steak on it, but there is no steak. Only Steak Fingers, which weren't very impressive. I won't be ordering those again. I would recommend Coaches Corner for pizza. read more

The perfect little hole in the wall. The Staff are very attentive to your needs. Always keeping a cold drink in front of you. The owner/cook/do it all will most likely come and say hello. The food, well that is what makes this place the "go to". The pizza has homemade crust, the chicken fried steak is hand cut hand breaded. The finger steaks ( hand cut steak) are another treasure. Wow, I really can't believe that Coaches (and it is called by Conradians) is on YELP. Coaches might be a little hard to find if you are not from Conrad, just ask a local and they will point you in the right direction. It is off Main street, across the street from the grocery store IGA. Coaches, like most Montana restaurants, is an unassuming burger and pizza joint. The pizza is thin crust and decently priced. However, I love love love the sauce. The pizza sauce has a tangy taste and is filled with seasoning. My favorite is the Steiner (trying to remember back, I think that is correct), anyways it is covered in not-Buffalo mozzarella cheese and meat and tangy sausage. Wow I must like tangy food. The burgers are a little too thin and dry for my taste, but the french fries are salty, crisp and delicious. Get them with malt vinegar or mayonnaise to kick them up a notch. You are sure to have the best service in your life. The waitstaff is attentive and helpful. Some of the waitstaff is a little no nonsense, but I love that about them. The food is quick to come out, and the pop (as soda is called in Montana) refills are endless. BOTTOM LINE: - If you are in Conrad and hungry, come here. - Great place to meet locals, and find out about town gossip - Hot spot after a high school sporting event, sort of see and be seen situation (HAHA) read more

Went here for dinner before the Holiday Stroll in town. We were the first people in the restaurant. Our drinks were brought quickly. We had to wait to get our order taken for about 10 minutes while the staff dealt with phone calls, I think they do a lot of take out business. Our order, a pizza, a burger, and some fish and chips, took 30 minutes to come out. Two of our orders had the sides mixed up. The soup we got as a starter was lukewarm at best. After our food came, our waitress disappeared. The pizza wasn't bad, but the service is terribly slow and the rest of the food is obviously taken from a bag and dumped into a deep fryer. I won't bother going there again, it's not worth the wait. read more

Best pizza in nice family and community supported restaurant. Set back from the road but well worth it!

Difficult to find restaurant and poor parking. We ordered over the phone not knowing the menu and the waitress seemed a little "put out" having to tell us what size pizza they had and what they offered for main entrees. But in the end we got our food ordered. We ordered the fried ravioli for our appetizer. The ravioli was average, but the marinara dipping sauce was odd and not at all good. We couldn't quite put our finger on why it tasted so bad. We don't think it was rancid; we just think the sauce itself was mixed with something, but we weren't sure what. Whatever the case, it wasn't to our liking. The pizza we ordered was good, but could have been in the oven for 3 to 4 minutes longer...of course this is a common complaint we have with most pizza places these days. When we were kids pizza was cooked a little bit more well done...the cheese was melted, but it also had a crispy crust on top. This pizza's cheese was just melted and needed to be cooked a bit longer. But the pizza was still good. Prices were reasonable. Quaint friendly atmosphere. UPDATE: We visited the restaurant again. Ordered the taco pizza. I'm glad we did. It was very good. While waiting to pick up our pizza we saw at least four more taco pizzas leave the kitchen. Clearly the taco pizza is the highlight of this place's menu. I would recommend it to anyone. read more

This is pretty much the only pizza place in town. It's ok; not great. But where else are you gonna go when you want pizza?

This is the second time we have gotten terrible service. The steaks were cooked wrong, half the orders had the wrong sides and people that asked for soup got salad. Half the table was finished eating before the other half even got served. Then the waitress tried to overcharge two of the tickets. The food (especially the pizza) is great it's to bad the service wasn't better. Would not recommend it!! read more
