Dr. Messenger runs a very well organized and professional practice. After just 4 visits so far, he has addressed all of my painful areas and is already reducing my discomfort and pain and increasing my range of motion. His expertise in both chiropractic and physical therapy is a real plus. Everyone in his office is practicing safe Covid precautions, which makes me feel much more comfortable with the hands on care. I have been seen on time for my appointments, and staff are friendly and attentive. They keep very much on schedule, a difficult feat for such a busy office. I called Messinger Chiropractic at the suggestion of a friend. She was right Dr. Mark and his staff are the best. I was in excruciating pain in my shoulder -- it kept me awake at night even after taking heavy prescription pain killers. I've been putting off getting my neck looked at for two years. It started when we were fixing our house to sell and I kept telling myself it would go away. I was scared to try chiropractic or physical therapy so I pushed through the pain. This month I woke up in so much pain, I couldn't even turn my neck. I had waited so long that I was suffering with headaches nearly daily, unable to exercise for fear of hurting it more and the daily anxiety of "will I have a headache today" was taking over my life. After my first visit I noticed a difference, I finally felt like there was some hope to this problem that felt so big for so so long. After many visits to the doctor and a few sets of x-rays, I was told that they don't see anything wrong with me. My shoulder blades up to my neck was killing me and I decided to try a chiropractor for the first time. One of the best decisions I have ever made !! Dr. Mark is a true professional and explains everything to you about what he will do and why it is done, how it will help. The first few weeks I would go 2 or 3 times (lucky to have good insurance) and as the weeks went by, I would go less & less. I would go once every 2 months until I was better and didn't have to visit anymore. When you go into the office they bring you into the small room with the roller bed and have you lay on it for 5-10 minutes and this feels so good and loosens your back up and lubricates the spine. Then the next room is where you lay on your stomach on what looks like a massage table, and you get the stimulation pads on your trouble spots and some heating pads on your back. After 10 minutes you will be worked on by Dr. Mark who will use the ultrasound machine to get the knots out of your back and then finish with a good ( crack ) adjustment. Going to Dr. Messinger has made such a difference in my day to day life. I was in a car accident (rear ended) over the summer. I was lucky and walked away thinking that there was very little harm done. As months went on a little pain turned into more and three months later I couldn't walk, couldn't sit for long, couldn't sleep or climb stairs without excruciating pain. Tylenol was the first thing I would take on waking and the last thing I would take before trying to sleep. I can say with complete honesty that I felt some relief after my very first visit. You never realize how much pain you have been living with until it start to go away really. I highly recommend these guys. It is very rare in a medical profession to find a really good practice where everyone is down to earth and treat you like an individual and are good at what they do. Most importantly though you will feel better when you leave. I don't include 2 or 3 Tylenol with breakfast, lunch and dinner anymore. I feel like I may always benefit from routine treatment but the difference between how I felt when I first walked in Dr. Messinger's and how I feel on a relatively bad day now (after treatment) is like day and night. Dr. Messinger has in a big way given me my life back and I can do normal things again without being in horrible pain. I work a full day and can come home and babysit my granddaughter the next.
