Delicious sandwiches, salads, and fresh fruit/vegetable juices. We visited twice for lunch in our three day visit to Rome because the sandwiches were delicious and it was located very close to our hotel.
Their menu offers many different options and creative combinations - all of which are perfectly balanced and named after cities around the world. I had the Wellington today which included prosciutto, brie, marinated artichokes, and a mix of lettuces. It was delicious. Last time, I ordered one with salmon, brie or some kind of cheese, walnuts, and some salad, You also get a choice of either a white or wheat baguette. The baguette is small but fresh. Each of the sandwiches are priced at around $3.50 to $5.50 euros. Possibly a little more expensive than some other delis considering the size but you pay for the quality and freshness of ingredients. Even though the thin subs are a little small, one was still enough to fill me up for a light lunch. All of the combinations sounded delicious.
They also have a juicer and offer fresh juices with your choice of ingredients for 4 euros. There was also a list of salads and an opportunity to design your own salad as well.
The staff were all very nice and willing to help explain the menu even if their English was limited. Almost all of the patrons were locals probably on their lunch break so it's not at all touristy. Definitely check it out if you're in the area and need a light lunch! read more
