The outside is just as nice as the inside and there is a new Youth Center right next door as well. The new library is located next to Pinon park and across the street from the Smith's grocery store. If you haven't checked out the new library in White Rock you should take a little stroll over and see all the new books, computers, and different areas they have up. The library also has a family friendly film series for the whole family to enjoy. Many adults, along with the kids, can enjoy the library. When you first walk in there are the bathrooms located on the left hand side and on the right is a theater room, I believe. There are also other rooms that you can reserve if you need to have a big study session with your classmates and they each have doors so you can have your privacy. The rows of books are labeled clearly and are easy to locate and there are computers and tablets located throughout so you can do a quick search for your book without having to go all the way to the front of the library. There is also a little storyteller area for kids the gather around to listed to the storytellers while they are on stage. Overall I'm excited that this new library has been built and I can't wait to go back and check out a book or two to read in my spare time. Now my biggest decision is what to read????

Some down points regarding this branch is some degree programs you will still need to attend the main branch to take certain classes. And the parking is atrocious. There is an over fill lot close by, but when it's cold outside it's not ideal. They have a big library and a few computer rooms you can use when you need a place to study or do computer work. The chili has six buildings which house a variety of classes. Overall this branch is a great place to take a lot of your core class work, but you might have to travel to main campus if you choose a degree program that is not 100% fulfilled on this campus.

These are just the saltiest librarians. They hate their jobs and they hate you. Great library! Such…read morea shame. The interior is clean and well lit, and new book titles easy to find. We came in from the cold to warm up and to look at all the community flyers. Bathrooms are located on the ground and second floors, which also has some historic information. I wish we could've spent longer in here but metered parking only covered us for two hours!

I asked if she could print wallet size and the "supervisor " immediately chimed in a said we don't do graphic designs. I was surprised and said, I don't need graphic design work, just a wallet size dock for my wallet. He was dismissive and said go to Nine to Five. The woman librarian was apologetic and I said no worries. You could tell she was uncomfortable how the "supervisor " handled it. The supervisor either doesn't realize how easily his staff could complete such a simple task, or he doesn't have the servants heart I had when I worked for the federal government for 43 years of service. Found MANY travel and museum and books of artiwork at this bookstore, as well as religion, new age, science fiction, mystery, detective, etc. You can just about find anything you're looking for. All sales are plowed back to sponsor programs for kids and adult programs and activities at all Santa Fe Libraries.

A very forward thinking type of education that is sound in literature but also teaches life skills so that one can evolve unto their journey of self discovery with confidence, skill and a solid education. I highly recommend this amazing place of education, the arts, small numbers, and beautiful setting. It does not have that "party" vibe, but it is definitely unique in the most wonderful way.

They have a wonderful selection of books, spanning a wide range of genres. You could spend a long time just browsing the shelves, looking for new books. Something that I thought was awesome, is that there's even a dedicated "teen room" for patrons under a certain age to hang out in and read. I'm too old to go in there, but you can see from the outside that it's well stocked with books and even has computers (for use with a library card).

I went while city voting was being done, but luckily they have plenty of parking so I had no issue finding a spot. You approach a librarian for a private room, which thankfully they had available. The WiFi was a tad spotty, but you are out in deep Rio Rancho so what do you expect! Kids area was large and clean, they even had an outdoor playground area. I also loved that they had a little bookstore on site. Keep in mind it is a $10 minimum for credit cards. I will def be back to work when I'm in the area!
