My wife ordered the lox after this and asked for the crackers on the side for him, but the chef wouldn't do it. They offered the lox without the crackers, so this seemed a little inflexible. There are two meanings for these recommendations, depending on the tone and body language. One is to invite you to wait, and the other is to invite you to leave the place.
