We stopped in since we were in the area. I haven't been to a thrift shop in AGES.
While browsing, I did notice some items were grossly overpriced. For instance, a plain white undershirt was $5.17. But I did find some lovely women's blouses (that look brand new/never worn) for $4-something each. So you just have to look. I also liked the discounted color tags. I found a shirt that I only paid like $2 for!
The kids and I also found a number of children's books. We love the Berenstain Bears and I found a number of them here for around $1 each AND some were even discounted even more due to the color sticker.
The cashier was friendly. When I told him we were visiting from Houston he lit up and said he was born in Houston. Small world.
We'd come back and hunt for deals here again. read more
Prices are crazy, all of their merchandise is donated. Clothing is ripped, shoes dirty. How can this be allowed, to practice business like that. Most people shopping there are looking for something inexpensive. Just pitiful. read more
