My fiance and I recently went to Campers Inn of Merrimack and were blessed with the sweetest and most caring salesperson. Her name is Shea Mara. From the initial introduction to the end of our visit, she knew exactly what we were looking for and had no trouble finding it. We went to visit several of the RVs outside and gave her our likings and dislikes. Right away she had one in mind that was not on the lot and showed us it on line and gave us the details. We are in the process of buying that one now! She totally understood why this thing was important or that thing wasn't to us. That is why she gets an A+ review. It was as if I knew her a long while as I felt very comfortable speaking with her. Plus she is a dog lover and we had our duo along for the ride. Can't get the GM to call my husband back and have dealt with only very junior people who are no help whatsoever. Absolutely horrible. Wish we hadn't spent our money here. Does the owner know and see how his team is treating his customers?

I called RVMedic and left a voicemail asking him to call me about fixing the problem. Scott, the owner, called back the next day (the only one of the three RV shops I called to call me back) and said he would drive down before the end of the week to address our problem and he provided me a cost estimate by email within the hour. He showed up as planned on schedule and quickly fixed the problem. Bottom line - he did an excellent job, well beyond my expectations, at the price quoted including some additional work I didn't know I needed when I made the appointment (see below) at no extra cost. I would recommend Scott and RVMedic without hesitation to anyone looking for first class service from a friendly and helpful guy at a very good price ... and with none of the normal "drop off your RV and we will call you whenever it's finally fixed". Regarding the additional work, once he had arrived I mentioned that one burner on our stove as well as our house batteries had been acting up, so he gave both a thorough check. He found that the stove burner had a faulty control valve and he spent the next 45 minutes on his phone trying to get a replacement part. Unfortunately, once he finally got through to Dometic's techs, he learned that they no longer made that model stove or carried its parts. He then offered to check ebay, RV dealers or other parts suppliers to see if he could locate one. He fond that the house batteries were worn out and he suggested a couple places nearby where I could get replacements at a reasonable price. He also gave me a few tips on maintaining and operating our RV appliances and house battery system. First-class service all around.

We went to our demo excited to pick up our camper and start making memories. The tech doing our demo, while nice, was not knowledgeable about our camper and on multiple occasions pointed us in the direction of Google and YouTube. We got the trailer home and it was time to unhitch it from our truck. The jack stopped working due to the battery not being fully connected- something we assumed they would have made sure was completed. There was also water found within the inline fuse making it soaking wet. That was not the end. While putting the slide out we blew a fuse and had to replace them. There was also cracks in the molding we were assured would be fixed but it wasn't. Once we were finally able to get inside, things continued to get worse. There were cobwebs all over the place, leftover food in the microwave and grill from previous owners, a dead spider in the bed among other issues. It took over two hours to clean what we expected and were told would be done prior to picking the camper up. We reached out to both the salesman and finance manager we worked with as surely this couldn't be the level of customer service they feel is appropriate. We were given their sincerest apologies and assured our feedback would be used to train staff. When our battery died during this time period they offered to replace it. Unfortunately that was not the end of our bad experience. While preparing for our first trip we had to stop at a dump station as there was waste in the black tank that hadn't been emptied. On that first camping trip the front half of the underbelly of camper peeled off. This was another concern that we noted when looking at the camper and were assured that it would be taken care of and was "fine". Instead of being able to enjoy our camper we purchased, all enthusiasm has been taken from us as we worry and stress about what's going to happen next and what else might not have been caught by us or by Cold Springs staff when they allegedly inspected the camper.  If you buy a used camper from Cold Springs PLEASE do your due diligence to make sure the camper is inspected fully and the work you were told would be done is completed.

We tried to see if the unit was still under warranty, but kept getting the run around from Camping World ( They didn't call back until we were on the road for a week). And the extended warranty we purchased said it was not covered. Rick replaced the AC the day it came in and we were on out way. After we were on the road, I was able to track down the extended warranty contract and low and behold it was something that should have been covered. Finally, since I have a Flagstaff camper, and it definitely needed a little work, I decided to make the trip to a Flagstaff dealer. That meant either going to Rhode Island or out to Fitchburg. Even though Rhode Island was a bit closer, I opted for Fitchburg because I did not want to go through Providence. Boy, what a wise choice. I never felt more comfortable entrusting my camper over to someone for repairs. Dave is the Service Manager. He understood my problems and clearly explained what he needed to do before I left. Within a week, he had received the two items that he needed to special order from Flagstaff, and the camper was ready. Dufour's is small. It appears to be run by a hands-on owner, not by a manager overseeing a large facility. They have a small store, stacked from floor to ceiling with just about any item you would need. It was well worth the trip.
