Mr. Sherman's office completed my aunt's final tax return, calculated and mailed out all 24 1099 forms for the beneficiaries and provided copies of everything to me. He provided an audit representation guarantee that I did not need - but was good to have as an assurance. I do my own taxes using tax software, but will definitely go to Mr. Sherman when I no longer can figure it out myself - and I am reaching that point! If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I do not recommend hiring this real estate management company under any circumstances. My experience with them was one of the worst I have ever had. From the very beginning, I was treated unprofessionally and felt discriminated against by members of their staff. For nearly two years, I repeatedly reported serious moisture and mold problems in the apartment, yet they never addressed the root cause. They either performed superficial cosmetic repairs or simply ignored my maintenance requests. It is my opinion that they were fully aware the property had existing moisture and water damage issues before renting it out. Instead of making the necessary repairs, they simply painted over the affected areas and rented the unit while the mold problem remained hidden behind the walls. Throughout my tenancy, there were several repairs that were the responsibility of management, but I ended up paying for or completing them myself because they failed to respond. What is even more frustrating is that after I moved out, they withheld part of my security deposit for repairs that I strongly dispute, including issues that I had reported for years and that they repeatedly failed to fix. Lorenzo, Marine, and Dominique handled my case, and unfortunately my experience with all of them was extremely disappointing. They showed no genuine interest in resolving the problems, communication was poor, and when I requested a detailed explanation of the charges deducted from my security deposit, I received little to no transparency. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, and responsible real estate management company, I strongly encourage you to do your research before hiring this one. My experience was filled with frustration, negligence, lack of accountability, and what I believe to be an unfair handling of my security deposit.
