This guest house is very new and open just on May 2017 and from what I understand this is a first experience for owners to engage in this sort of business, so there are some things which were not considered and hopefully will improve after guests reviews.
Among pros: 5 minutes walk to downtown, close to boat tours, pubs/restaurants and local National Parks. There are bicycles available for guests, but without helmets, free Netflix and Internet. Free continental breakfast (fresh fruit, croissants, other pastry, coffee, tea, granola bars, yogurt, juice). Water, juice and tea were available during the day.
There are only three rooms in this guest house. A Mermaid's Casita (where we stayed) and it is the first room downstairs with small private area to seat outside which guests who stay in the second room (Fisherman's Shanty, downstairs as well) have to pass to get to their room (so not really private area) and the Georgian upstairs which is a bigger room and of course the most private. The stairs to this room are next to Mermaid's Casita outside sitting area. The reception area is not well displayed, the guest house is cut out of a small wood lot.

Things all got wet :-( We could hear neighbors upstairs go to BR, take a shower, etc, common outdoor eating area for continental breakfast was right outside our bedroom window (little privacy), so we had to keep our blinds closed almost all the time which made our room even darker but we didn't want everyone passing our room see what's inside.
If the room was cheaper it would have been okay, but we paid $270 per night, which is so overpriced for what we got. I would say hearing neighbors upstairs was the worse because almost everyday they got up around 6 am and we unfortunately couldn't sleep anymore as we heard them walking, taking shower, talking... read more
