So this place is a little hidden and very cute on the outside and inside, hence the name Urban Oasis!!!! was extremely friendly and did an awesome job with cutting my hair and keeping me engaged in a conversation as she worked her magic. The best part of the cut was the shampoo!!!! OMG, I could go there every morning just for the shampoo. She massage my scalp to the extent of me almost falling asleep... WOW!!!! Caitlin did and awesome job and for a guy's cut for $25 was about average what I pay on a normal basis at the barber shop.

I asked her for the same service I had booked for but for a different date. Because of my review, I have received comments from their establishment saying, "next time make sure yu have the patience to wait" and other insults that I will post with my review. . This salon is so unprofessional starting from time management, customer service, and rude customer service. I'm sure you'll see other reviews. Went here for a gel manicure with Rosa. I sat down for my…read moregel manicure. Rosa starts to remove my gel polish, then what seems to be her regular customer comes in and sits across from us - I assume I got double booked because Rosa starts to rush and seems nervous. Very quickly, my gel manicure turns into a polish change. Rosa removes my polish, puts new polish on, and says shes finished and requests $40. She did not do any kind of manicure; all she did was a basic polish change. She requested $40 for this polish change. Here are the prices on her desk: Gel manicure $35+ Spa manicure $40+ I told her I did not receive a manicure and explained that she did not push back, cut my cuticles, buff my nails or do anything other than change the polish. Her response, "You didn't need your cuticles cut and you received a manicure." I asked her how much she charges for a polish change, and she repeated to me that I got a manicure. I told her I would pay for a polish change but not a manicure because I didn't receive a manicure. I explained how a manicure involves nipping and cutting cuticles at minimum and she once again stated that I didn't need my cuticles cut, so she didn't do it. We went back and forth repeating ourselves until I finally asked for a manager, then she said there is no manager to speak to. I once again asked how much a polish change is and she snarled at me that I don't have to pay anything and can leave. So I left. I get my nails done on a regular basis and know the difference between a manicure and a polish change. Apparently, this manicurist does not. I wouldn't recommend this place because of Rosa. I hope she doesn't rip off other people charging $40 for a simple polish change and calling it a manicure.

All of the employees are friendly. The music played is current and appropriate without being too loud to discourage pleasant conversation. All supplies such as towels are always clean. As for my hair stylist, Kori, she has been cutting my family's hair for many years and she's been cutting and coloring my hair for several years. She always does a wonderful job and gets it right every time. We have followed her from a chain to now her own chair here. I have recommended Kori to many of my mom friends for their kids as Kori is so great with kids. I will continue to recommend her time and time again!

This is a somewhat bustling big salon nestled in a fancy shopping center so I wasn't able to get a…read moresame day pedicure appointment. I did however get a cut and color from color me crazy Sara Bear (booked two days prior from a app) and I noticed that other hair stylists inside seemed capable as I studied the clients that were leaving the salon. I was only there for less than two hours and during that time I only saw a limited amount of finished clients and they were mostly mature ladies such as myself with conservative hairstyles. The receptionist, who was also a stylist confided to me that she got her cuts elsewhere haha. Sara specializes in color and I loved that she was able to see me right away even if it was later in the evening. She usually gets booked up during the morning and afternoon. For now I requested an even all over copper shade, but I look forward to booking with her again for some funner dual shades. She was an absolute sweetheart and gave me exactly what I requested. It was just a quick trim to give it a tad bit of shape and eliminate unhealthy ends but I was stunned by how silky and soft she made my hair and I accidentally repeated incorrect zip codes for my credit card.
