Horrible. Moved the Airport Rd. branch so they could lay off all the staff and basically turn into a walk-in ATM. No longer take coin deposits and if your bills are dirty or wrinkled, their machine will reject them and you can't deposit. Last year my 93 yo widowed mother put me on her safe deposit box since she in not very mobile. Now they are closing them. Went in to close it out and they can't find that I was ever added. Said she has to come in or they will give the contents to the state. Remodeling there which probably means they will also become a walk-in ATM with no customer service like the SW branch. Yeah, they are pretty bad. It's especially evident now during the pandemic. I spent 45 minutes on hold with their main office before I gave up, then tried to do my task online, since nobody at my branch office ever actually answers their phone. The website sent me into an endless loop with no way out. Oh, their ("new and improved!") website is a case study in what absolutely not to do when designing a user-friendly, easy-to-navigate experience. The people that work there are nice enough, so much so that I almost feel bad to write this negative review. But if you are serious about your banking look elsewhere. I know I will. read more

Terrible service while trying to open a business account. My wife started the process earlier this week and was told we needed to come back today to sign papers. When we arrived, they had no clue why we were there and then the person we were speaking to basically called my wife a liar and blamed us for the entire process breakdown. I have been a member for 10 plus years. Every year it has gotten harder and harder to bank with them. I actually made up my mind today that I will be switching TODAY. I am done with their crappy service. The employees at the branch have always been great. It's the call ins to the main office that just have to stop for me. I am done! Do not put your money in this credit union, they are dishonest and insincere, in there dealing with you. They will use double speak to bust fees, and confuse there customers. I've used them for over a decade and recommend them. You can usually walk right in without much of a line or get someone on the phone pretty quickly. Their online service is a bit old looking. No way to set up for automatic notification of a lot of things. read more

This isn't a review of the Longmont location, but is a review of Premier Members Federal Credit Union (PMFCU) as a whole. I have been a customer at PMFCU for over 14 years now and I have seen a significant change for the worst in the past few months. I've finally decided that I cannot deal with the incompetence I have been dealing with, so I am moving to another bank. Recently, I signed up for two business accounts and wanted to take advantage of the online banking. Apparently, I had set up these accounts just after PMFCU's big "security rollout" for their website. Well, the rollout was a complete disaster. Here is a list of problems that I encountered: 1) When I tried to access my business account for the first time, I was asked to provide a contact email address. The system would accept my email address, but then when I tried to log in again, it asked for it again. When I tried to use Quickbooks to access my account, it was denied because PMFCU's system flagged my account as incomplete because I didn't have an email address associated with the account! Turns out that the person who set up my account didn't know what they were doing and only one person in the whole PMFCU organization could fix it, which they did two weeks later!! 2) I tried to transfer money from one business account to another and couldn't. So once again, I call the helpdesk and talk to some person who reset my account so that I could use that option. Turns out that ALL of my accounts (both business and personal) were reset and I had to call yet another time to get a passphrase to clear that up. 3) This was the last straw for me. I tried to set up bill pay but each time I tried, I was given an error that bill pay wasn't available. For almost a week I was calling PMFCU every day to get this cleared up. Finally, I talked to a supervisor who said: "The only person who can fix this is on vacation and won't be back until Monday." So basically, I couldn't pay bills online or write a check (because the person who set up my account dropped the ball on ordering checks even after we had gone through and picked them out) or transfer money. I live and work in the mountains and I am very busy. The closest office is 45 minutes away and I DON'T have time to go down to one of their offices to deal with this. PMFCU is a joke! The people who work there are incompetent and should not be running a bank. I don't have time to be on the phone every day with someone who doesn't know how to do their job only to find out that I cannot use the tools I need to conduct my business. I've been a memberf since I was fourteen, when the IBM Credit Union opened. This later became Premier. Their service has always been excellent, the staff courteous, and there rates and fees are low (I don't pay any fees). The loan offices will do whatever they can to make he loan process as quick and painless as possible. And they are the only bank hat has never sold my mortgage. ATM services are free at any in network ATM's, and there are a lot of them - all 7-11's and any other credit unions. I read more

So many problems with these people. You name it, they can screw it up. Tried to transfer money to an account there, they insisted it was closed several times, though it was not. The ATM machine doesn't work frequently. We tried to get a home equity loan on a house we owned outright, and they took weeks to tell us no. Premier Members Federal Credit Union recently updated their Web and Mobile banking offering. The mobile application and the mobile web site functions simply do not work. The only method they provided to report the problems is via secure message on their web site however after exchanging messages for 2 months, they seem unable to resolve any of the issues. The mobile app won't even load and the mobile web site does not work for transferring funds or for paying bills. So it is really useless. If you want to do your banking via the web or mobile device, do not bank with this credit union. read more

I had left a scathing review, the credit union ended up sending me a check for the money they had charged. I might disagree with their policy but they refunded the fee charged. My advise to the CU is, if their goal is to get inactive accounts off their books, they should take funds that are in those inactive accounts and use the funds for a charitable cause. They probably could use the amount they donate as a tax break. As it is currently, it has appearance as just going to the CU profit. It seems as though it is "stealing" to those whose money it was . By donating the money they could "clean up" their books, generate good PR, and quite probably get a tax break, in my opinion that would be a better practice then currently. read more

The loan officer, Jenn Hansen, pre-approved a loan for us based upon a Power of Attorney. I wanted to come in before going to the dealership to get my Jeep Overland to pick up a check and she told me no need - and I have those emails still. Once I got to the dealership Jenn told me that the POA was not good enough for them and what should have been a quick transaction took more than 6 hours. The POA was fine for the dealership. At 4:00 PM Jenn told me she had to leave for the day as she would not be paid for any time after 4. The car salesman was there on his day off, and the finance gal from the dealership missed her softball game, but my loan officer bailed on me! Chardonnay saved the day and finished the transaction, but still was not able to use our POA that Jenn used to pre-approve us and made my husband loose and entire night's sleep because he was working overseas. While I appreciate the service from Chardonnay, I can't recommend Premier because of all of the other issues. Stay away from there unless you can deal with Chardonnay! read more
