If you're skiing back into Meribel this is literally the first bar you'll see, across the road from where the minibuses and taxis queue up. With plenty of external wall space to prop your skis and snowboards against, you can enjoy a well-deserved après-ski beer (or a few) sat either outside or in.
It was always buzzing when we visited, which was most days of our trip come to think of it. If you sit outside there's no need to go to the bar as they have table service which is fantastic. 'Happy Hour' finishes at 16:30 so be prepared to pay more for your drinks after that. The tables against the façade have heaters and are somewhat sheltered but the rest are open to the elements. Inside there's lots of seating but it can get very, very busy so you'll be lucky to get a seat if there's a group of you. Some evenings there's live music on here too which were really good.
Tip: if you're getting lager and there's a few of you, opt for a jug instead of buying separately. You get roughly four pints to a jug. read more
