The lumpia and ukoy were fantastic starters and were incredibly tasty and crunchy. The chicken inasal was sizzling, juicy and flavorful. We also had the lechon kawali, which is probably one of the best, if not the best, lechon kawali I've had--the skin was crispy and the pork super tender. The sauce on top was also quite special. I ended that night with leche flan and ube macapuno panna cotta. During my next visit, I had the oxtail kare kare, which was quite delicious and peanut buttery, just the way I like it. I then tried the chicken rebosado for the first time ever and it was incredible! Honestly, I was a bit upset that I've lived so long without trying such a tasty dish. The chicken was coated with a delicious sweet sauce and the meat was very juicy and tender. On top of their great food, their drinks were also very well done. The best espresso martini I've had. The servers were incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. They truly go out of their way to make sure your time with them is special. This absolutely makes sense once you meet Chef Larry, who despite being super busy in the kitchen took time out to check in all of his guests. The restaurant itself was conveniently located and the vibe was quite relaxing. This is a place where you want to take your time, enjoy great food, drinks, and be treated well. I will definitely be back when I return to the area. I highly recommend this place to everyone--Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike!

This place might be the ONLY mexican restaraunt in Lübeck, but still the service and food is better…read morethan average in Germany. On Fridays and Saturdays the place is usually crowded. Many people just come for the cocktails and nachos. Bolero is part of a Mexican restaurant chain in Germany, so the quality is high. The dishes are not too spicy and the music is not too loud. We chose a table next to the bar, but the front door kept sticking and a chilling German wind in February does not make for a great dining experience. (All the tables away from the door were Reserved.) The food is actually pretty good. It's kind of a Mexican/Italian fusion. We went during happy hour and my two mixed drinks were delicious! But the bartender didn't speak a word to is the entire time we were there. The waitress was friendly but seemed to have too many tables to attend to since we had to wait for refills. Prices are ok, maybe a touch high (about what you'd pay for a steakhouse in America but without the steak) but overall it would be a great choice if they would fix that sticking door or if you can sit away from it.

My friend ordered soup which she moderately enjoyed, but was nothing to write home about. The service at Papadopoulos was friendly, but some of the workers who were sitting behind the bar in the adjoining room seemed to be staring at us and snickering behind our backs. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As there was no English menu, we required the waitress' help to translate certain items for us. She also helped by Recommending a cocktail which we all loved! (See picture) The food was all spectacular. We went with a 3 course option which included a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. They offered a goat cheese option for both the appetizer and dessert and was surprised at how it was transformed into both a savory and sweet dish. My steak was cooked perfectly and was incredibly favorable. The dish the really stole the show for me was the Sesame coated sushi grade tuna which came with a wasabi cream.
