We chose a table next to the bar, but the front door kept sticking and a chilling German wind in February does not make for a great dining experience. (All the tables away from the door were Reserved.) The food is actually pretty good. It's kind of a Mexican/Italian fusion. We went during happy hour and my two mixed drinks were delicious! But the bartender didn't speak a word to is the entire time we were there. The waitress was friendly but seemed to have too many tables to attend to since we had to wait for refills. Prices are ok, maybe a touch high (about what you'd pay for a steakhouse in America but without the steak) but overall it would be a great choice if they would fix that sticking door or if you can sit away from it.

I ordered a plate of Scampis, which arrived on a large round plate. The scampis decorated the plate along with vegetables and spices, but they were still shelled. It took me about half an hour to manage to de-shell the scampis only to discover that the scampis themselves were not particularly tasty. They were somewhat undercooked and tasteless. My friend ordered soup which she moderately enjoyed, but was nothing to write home about. The service at Papadopoulos was friendly, but some of the workers who were sitting behind the bar in the adjoining room seemed to be staring at us and snickering behind our backs. Stopped by Miera for dinner with coworkers while visiting Lübeck based on recommendations from…read morefriends. And this became one of our favorite spots out of all that we went that week. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As there was no English menu, we required the waitress' help to translate certain items for us. She also helped by Recommending a cocktail which we all loved! (See picture) The food was all spectacular. We went with a 3 course option which included a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. They offered a goat cheese option for both the appetizer and dessert and was surprised at how it was transformed into both a savory and sweet dish. My steak was cooked perfectly and was incredibly favorable. The dish the really stole the show for me was the Sesame coated sushi grade tuna which came with a wasabi cream. The fish was super high quality and fresh. Delicious! I will definitely be back the next time I am in Lübeck!!
