I cannot begin to express how amazing Meredith was at our wedding! She was not only great to work with before the wedding but also during and after. We live on the east coast but our wedding was in Seattle so we did not get a chance to meet Meredith in person before the big day. However, Meredith was very flexible and we talked on the phone a couple of times so she could get an idea of what our big day would look like. We had to change the contract a couple of times so we could extend her coverage, and she was more than flexible allowing us to change before and DURING the wedding--yes, she happily agreed to stay a couple hours later at the reception when it was clear we hadn't hired her for a long enough period of time. The wedding was a blur but Meredith was there every step of the way. While I was getting my makeup and hair done, she took the million pieces of jewelry and clothes that I had to wear (Indian wedding, LOTS of jewelry and colorful clothing) and took amazing photos. I totally forgot she took them away for photos and they turned out to be incredible keepsakes. There was a lot of dancing throughout the day and she managed to capture great action shots of a variety of our guests from different angles and different crops. AMAZING. She captured our day perfectly. Meredith was also by my side asking if I needed anything, which was so kind and sweet. I felt like she was part of the ceremony and the big day, not just our photographer. She was laughing and smiling with all of the guests. OK and then our FAVORITE part was the portraits she took of me and my new husband. We were practically crying over how beautiful they are! I remember while we were taking them she was very quick with taking the photos and giving us easy cues--we felt so comfortable and the poses felt natural. We will cherish these photos of us forever! Where do I even start! We started our search for the perfect photographer in March. We came across Meredith when we decided to look into GeorgeStreet Photo and Video. We knew right away when we met with Meredith that we wanted her to photograph our 3-day Indian/Bengali wedding! Her pictures were BEAUTIFUL! At first we weren't sure if she would be able to capture everything that happens at our wedding (it's quite complicated and LONG), but after our engagement session with her, we knew she was willing to give it her all! This was going to be her first Indian/Bengali wedding, but she was beyond excited, which in turn made us more confident in her abilities. She was attentive and listened to everything we had to say about our wedding. During our 3-day wedding, we not only fell in love with Meredith's charismatic personality, but our whole entire wedding party along with most of the guests did too! Meredith was my sister's wedding photographer in May 2014. I lucked out in finding my very own wedding photographer pretty effortlessly because I got to see Meredith's work well before I was even engaged and knew it would be hard to find anyone else this good! Meredith was truly a joy to work with because she absolutely overflows with energy and fun. She embodies the descriptor "down to earth!" It was so easy to connect with Meredith from our first official meeting all the way through our engagement shoot and our wedding day! This was huge to both myself and my husband because we are a bit camera shy! But it made a HUGE difference to know not only Meredith's photography skills but how personable she was! We could see the difference in our pictures in how natural it was for us to have fun while taking pictures. She was always up for suggestions about poses locations etc etc and it was a blast. You can imagine the level of stress we were experiencing considering that we had an all outdoor venue! Meredith kept calm through the entire day--it actually rained (poured) about 45 min prior to our ceremony(!) but even then she kept us on track with timing and portraits. I wish there was a way to really convey how thankful we were to have her there. And most importantly, our pictures were absolutely stunning! My husband (YAY!!) and I got married this past summer and are beyond thrilled with having had Meredith behind the wheel as our photographer. When we started looking, we knew we would be having a elopement-style, simple, and small ceremony. We also knew that we wanted to get hitched outside. Beyond that, we did not have many details figured out... but Meredith was unfazed by the ambiguous plans, responded to our initial vague request quickly, and was wonderful in explaining what she could and would provide. She was super efficient in directing people and poses, got amazing pictures that we love (and get lots of compliments on), and did so while being so friendly, fun, and having an infectious upbeat attitude. My husband and I can both honestly agree that having Meredith as our photographer was the best choice we made when it came to our wedding. My husband doesn't love to be photographed, but after meeting Meredith for our engagement pictures he ended up admitting to enjoying the process, that is Meredith's true gift. Meredith was an absolute pleasure to work with on both our engagement photos and capturing our wedding! First of all, she is extremely responsive and hustled hard for our business which made us feel good about working with her and investing in her work. She was a hard worker, arriving early and staying longer than contracted for both of our shoots. As well, she perfectly captured the urban Seattle wedding vibe we were going for while also getting the true, candid moments of the day! I appreciated the homework she did before the wedding day including location scouting and looking through my Pinterest board of photography inspiration. Additionally, Meredith was just a really nice, warm person to be around. She is encouraging and makes you feel so comfortable when you're posing. In particular, our bridal party appreciated that she gave clear and exact instructions on what do-taking the guess work out of it for them. My wife and I had Meredith take family photos while we were pregnant and these pictures are some of our most cherished items. She was able to use light, our hands, and local landmarks and scenery to capture our special time like only a total pro could have. We were so impressed with Meredith's work that we flew her to FL so she could photograph our and four other friends' young families on a big vacation. Our friends studied together with us and then moved all over the country to start their medical practices and this was our first chance to get everyone together in years. Meredith is such a talented photographer, but also a kind and genuine person. We found Meredith through a company called George Street Photography and immediately (without even meeting her) knew she had to photograph our wedding! Once we met her we hit it off immediately. My fiance and I received a save the date which featured Meredith's photography and we instantly hoped we would get the chance to work with her. I'm so happy we chose Meredith to be our wedding photographer. Meredith is an absolutely wonderful photographer!! She has taken my engagement pictures and my maternity pictures and has not dissapointed!! I am often very awkward in pictures because I get nervous about them looking perfect, but she always finds a way to calm me down and not think about the pictures being taken!! She also handled taking pictures of our two very energetic dogs with us during the maternity shoot perfectly! She was able to be quick and capture the moment before they got distracted by a squirrel or bird or other person... Ha!
