I came in for what should have been a routine medical procedure, and after explaining the circumstances to the nurses, they were extremely rude and judgmental, rolling their eyes and staring at me in a way that felt like outright bullying. I understand that they may not have agreed with my decisions, but there was absolutely no reason to treat me with such disrespect when I was already in a vulnerable and potentially life-threatening situation. I expected basic professionalism and compassion and received neither. I gave this place another chance thinking my first experience was a one-time thing, but this just confirmed that it wasn't. I truly hope future patients are met with the compassion and empathy that I was not shown.

Seriously there were many time I thought I should go eat there JUST for the food. Sadly when I was there for 3 weeks in Dec 2016 the food was NOT the yumminess I remember. The sandwich bar is still good!! I especially love the pretzel bun! And they're made to order using quality ingredients. Not skimpy either - nicely done on the balance of ingredients! However the entree and sides that in the past tasted small batch homemade and nutritious (aka not fried) have become industrial, prepackaged glop and mostly fried and/or dried out. The best line was someone's comment that the roast turkey was so dried out it looked like "toast"!! Ha ha ha! Highlight - 2nd floor coffee shop!! A real espresso machine and ab fab smoothies! They also have tasty sweet treats and usually at lunch a soup (which may or may not match the cafeteria)! Speaking of coffee - some floors have free and accessible coffee, tea, ice, etc but some don't - I encourage you to walk around or ask! If you have to be in a hospital this is probably one of the best around. They have some of the BEST specialists in the entire region. I especially think the Walker Heart Institute is amazing! They have extras for kids luke free water bottles and fruit to snack on and craft carts with a helper to keep them entertained in the waiting room. The main building has a very nice gift shop and coffee/snack stand right by the main entrance. They also have security and you have to get a pass to enter the main building which I like. We went to the ER one time with my daughter and they got us right in. They brought her fidgets to play with and let her pick out snacks which made her much more comfortable and not worked up. For her regular appt they gave her a coin at the end and she could put it in a prize machine. She loved that! I am happy with her pediatrician and highly recommend this hospital for your children!

The rooms and all of the hospital are brightly, decorated to attract children and cause them to want to be here. My wounds were basically rinsed off with a bottle of sterile water. No antiseptic or anti bacterial products were used and I left with blood dried between my fingers. My hand wound was glued shut as is and I was prescribed a pain killer. After 2+ hours, I was released only after a reluctant nurse wound some gauze around my leg burn and didn't use the tape she had to secure it but tucked it in the top of the dressing. Definitely not professional. I believe this service level could be due to my Medicare Insurance status... Overall experience was pretty poor. I did reach out to see if there was any warranty on their work.

my son went to their clinic with a fever, and mostly cold like symptoms…read more they did a covid test, strep test, and a flu test. all returned negative. they said he was on the end of whatever was going on but gave him amoxicillin. three days later he was still running a high fever, and now his throat is swollen and he can't really swallow anything. he returned and they repeate the tests and took bl to test for mono. all negative. they said go to the emergency room now cause we can help you. At the emergency room they did act scan of his throat and said yes it's very swollen (duh), asked them to look for pneumonia. every looked fine they said. gave him a prescription for another antibiotic and a steroid for the swelling. no one ever looked in his throat, nor took his temperature, no one had any answers for why he is running a fever. said thats All they could do. Not figu anything out just a guessing game. What the hell is a hospital, especially an emergency room for? I could guess just as well as them. I just don't understand what has happened to the medical system and the "healthcare" givers since the pandemic. it's as if they have all become stupid. Never going back to this hospital again
