May need to update your false or "just walk in" phrase. My sick child and I "walked in" before 6pm…read moreway before closing time. I came here after going to Medexpress down the road sadly they are now closed and got bought out by Mercy. On their door it directed us to go to Mercy. We approached 3 unfriendly staff members who quickly tried to get rid of us by saying they had no appointments available and they would be able to get my daughter in the following day at the Springdale office which is an additional 25 mins further away from home. The lobby had maybe 2 people waiting. I would understand if they were bombarded but that was not the case. There were more staff members sitting around than patients waiting. Needless to say I was turned away and my child was not seen.

I came into their clinic on Sunday, 1/26. I was prescribed antiobiotics and they sent it to Harps,…read morewhich turned out to be closed. I immediately called to get it transferred to a pharmacy that was open, as I needed the antiobiotics for extreme pain I was experiencing and had been for almost a week. Come to find out they never called it into the correct pharmacy. They actually sent it twice to the one that was closed. Monday morning I am calling this urgent care along with both pharmacies where the mix up occurred. I was informed by the pharmacy that had been closed, Harps, that they had gotten my prescription called in but then the provider called to cancel it because it had presumably been "filled somewhere else". It had not. The other pharmacy, CVS, informed me that no one had called them and no information came up under my name. My prescription was now no where to be found. I called back the urgent care office to get it fixed. After almost 24 hours of not getting my prescription, they finally said they would recall it in to Harps pharmacy. After about 20 minutes I called the pharmacy to see if my prescription was in, and it had in fact not even been called in. About an hour later I call the urgent care office again. Still had yet to be called in. I persisted that they do so, but they were "so busy" and could not give me a time that they would be able to get it in. I even had my boyfriend call with similar results; no one had called it in and there was no hint as to when I was going to receive my prescription. I have been in excruciating pain and this antibiotic is the only thing that will help. Over the counter pain relievers like ibuprofen have not helped at all, so I needed something prescribed by a doctor. As of right now I still have not heard back and it still has yet to be called in. You would think that a medical provider would be more apt to fixing their own mistakes and making sure a client gets the medicine they need, but that was not the case here. I was not taken care of or helped at all, and because of their mistake in the first place I was inhibited from getting the medication I needed. I eventually had to call my doctors office at home to get them to send in a prescription for me, which they did so swiftly and promptly. I will never be returning to this urgent care again.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and courteous and I had no waiting. Dr. Abby was amazing! Finally, at my age of 65, I have found a Doctor who is genuinely interested in me as a patient and as a person. Her examine was very thorough and she took time to answer my questions, rather than rush to get me out the door so she could get on to her next appointment. I especially liked the fact that the clinic is not directly affiliated with a specific hospital. Here is a clinic that exists to provide care to their patients rather than provide referrals to a hospital! I wish I could remember the name of the wonderful lady who did the blood draw for the blood test and just want to say she was great! Thanks to her skill, the procedure was virtually painless! I HIGHLY recommend this clinic...5-stars!!!!!

He asked well what do you want, I said Lexapro. Red Flag #1. Dr lets patients prescribe #Red Flag #2 marijuana can help with anxiety and sleeping are you sue you don't want to try? Patient: I'm not opposed but don't feel that's a helpful plan of action given the situation. My situation escalated into panic attacks. He prescribed me Clonazepam. It was needed and appropriate. He also stated I would have no problem getting a refill. Unfortunately, it was a problem and his associate ripped me off a black label medication cold turkey and put me on something completely ineffective The day before flew out for a business trip, despite me educating the PA, and asking for 4 more doses to get through a high streas trip. He ignored my concerns, talked over me and pushed pellet therapy, despite the fact I had just had a full panel work up at a reputable medical practice, They patted me on the head and sent me on my way assuring me this new med would work great. Well guess what?!?! It didn't, I had a full blown panic attack on the Delta plane at XNA and was left to crash and burn. Those are cold hard facts. Saddly this is only part of the negligence and malpractice I encountered. Stay tuned, for the book and the movie. I will not be sweeping this u see the rug sweetheart.

Both my parents have been patients here. Multiple times. Multiple days. CCU, ICU, regular rooms,…read moreoutpatient. And I've helped them navigate the process. So this review is an outsiders perspective. There are some amazing, fabulous people working here. I'd say 97% of the people I interacted with were stellar! And I think the select few uncaring, ignorant staffers would be found anywhere - I don't know how they could eliminate all of them - but I know they try! Food in the cafeteria used to be AMAZING!! Seriously there were many time I thought I should go eat there JUST for the food. Sadly when I was there for 3 weeks in Dec 2016 the food was NOT the yumminess I remember. The sandwich bar is still good!! I especially love the pretzel bun! And they're made to order using quality ingredients. Not skimpy either - nicely done on the balance of ingredients! However the entree and sides that in the past tasted small batch homemade and nutritious (aka not fried) have become industrial, prepackaged glop and mostly fried and/or dried out. The best line was someone's comment that the roast turkey was so dried out it looked like "toast"!! Ha ha ha! Highlight - 2nd floor coffee shop!! A real espresso machine and ab fab smoothies! They also have tasty sweet treats and usually at lunch a soup (which may or may not match the cafeteria)! Speaking of coffee - some floors have free and accessible coffee, tea, ice, etc but some don't - I encourage you to walk around or ask! If you have to be in a hospital this is probably one of the best around. They have some of the BEST specialists in the entire region. I especially think the Walker Heart Institute is amazing! You'd have to go to a much larger metropolitan area to do better! Best advice - stay out of hospitals - they are not a good place to be . I'd give 5 stars for the hospital but had to drop a star for the current quality of food.
