They did say that if the shot did not work within the next couple of days, I could call in and they would call me in the antibiotic. I must say that I was impressed by this. They suggested to go to walk-in urgent care. Tuesday 8/4/26 @9am came here and told them about my possible poison ivy episode with a 2-week outdoor project I was involved in out of town. I was bitten by chiggers, ant, mosquitos, you name it. Red spots started turning more serious. The initial nurse told me it didn't really look like poison ivy so I was curious now what could it be. After a 1hr wait (could have been longer) Elisabeth Pagan, NP came in and I told her again what I had been involved in. She was def sure it was staph infection. Whats that?? prescribed me: triamcinolone and sulfamethoxazole along with zyrtec and pepcid to reduce histamine response. By Friday 8/7/26 no sign of change and some areas got worse. Decided to walk myself into ER on morning of 8/8/26. THANK YOU- CNP, Boelens for your consultation. I could tell she really didnt want to be rude about my urgent care experience but as I was asking questions she was like "that med should have not been prescribed to you," and she also asked, "did she give you a shot"? :/ I said no. Left with a steroid shot and new presc. I felt a weight off my shoulders and peace. I will also be writing a personal note to Elisabeth Pagan for her lack of care and attention with my visit.

I called the VA to make sure this was a place within community care because I was having flu like symptoms, a fever for 3 days straight, couldn't even keep food down and they told me I couldn't be seen until I paid a 150$ co pay. As a veteran with full coverage through the VA, this was extremely disappointing and I felt very dismissed. Through the VA I shouldn't have to pay a dime. Literally made me wait in the waiting room for over an hour to "contact my VA health benefits rep" and kept calling it tricare health insurance. It's not tricare fyi and it's not health insurance. Don't say you work with veterans in the community if this is what happens whenever a veteran comes in to get seen. hope this helps

She told me I would be put ahead because of their mistake, then gave me three pages of paperwork. I filled everything out, and five more people were still called ahead of me. After seeing a certain doctor for a couple years not to mention any names but his initials are Andrew Coppola I asked MANA to start seeing another doctor cause I was tired of being disrespected by this one. I thought it was a fair request. I got a certified letter in the mail in a few days saying I wasn't welcome at MANA anymore. I called the office manager to ask why and was told "because you asked for another doctor. The doctors all work together and if you don't want to see a particular one then you can't see any of them." I guess it's just too much to ask to have a doctor that isn't rude, childish, and has a bad attitude. Do yourself a favor and find healthcare somewhere else.

Sometimes there is a wait to be seen (as expected for urgent care or walk-in appointment), but the level of care is always exceptional and always worth the wait. The thing I like most about Dr. Karas is his focus on wellness and health, not just treating symptoms. He's not judgmental, but he does make recommendations about diet, sleep, physical activity, sunshine (and vitamin D supplementation during the winter) and the importance of maintaining community. They act as though they are too busy to help. I guess they are too busy discussing their social lives! I would send messages through the portal for an appointment and they seldom responded in a timely manner. If they did respond, they give you excuses to cover the fact that they ignored or forgot to check the portal. If you need anything within several days that is not going to happen. They will refer you to their MANA Urgent Care clinics because it is apparently too hard to schedule you with your PCP. Random charges are affixed to your account for asking a question through the portal. I have never had this happen at any of the MANA clinics before I switched to MANA-North Fayetteville. If you leave a message for the clinic manager she won't call you back. I am done with this circus I have another PCP lined up out of the MANA system. The office experience ruins the entire clinic. This review is not a reflection of the care that I received from Dr. Abby Baldwin or Dr. Lauren Thompson both are wonderful doctors and I strongly reccomend either. If you want a rude administrative staff and an office manager who does not return calls to simple questions then this is your place. Common sense and patient service seems to have left the equation.

We approached 3 unfriendly staff members who quickly tried to get rid of us by saying they had no appointments available and they would be able to get my daughter in the following day at the Springdale office which is an additional 25 mins further away from home. The lobby had maybe 2 people waiting. I would understand if they were bombarded but that was not the case. There were more staff members sitting around than patients waiting. Needless to say I was turned away and my child was not seen.
