A shining star for the city of Atlanta. Provides hope and service for those even during times considered the lowest. Give them a try.

Great Medical, Eye, and Dental care...although they are a bit slow in service at times.

Truthfully, no one ever wants to go to an urgent care. BUT when you need one, you need one. I first…read morewent to the Piedmont Urgent Care in Buckhead, which I always had a fine experience with. When I moved downtown, I tried 3 terrible urgent cares before deciding to search for another Piedmont location. My loyalty to this location began when I somehow got salmonella. I was so weak and the doctors did all that they could before sending me to the ER. I have been coming here for a few years now, and I will go out of my way to get here. First of all, it's always clean. The staff is so helpful and kind. Whether it's a billing question or a question for the doctor, it always gets answered quickly and kindly. My primary care doctor is far away, so I come to Piedmont Urgent Care for anything minor. During the pandemic, they have a new system of waiting outside instead of in the waiting room. It kind of stinks, but so does everything else. They're making the best of the circumstances. The staff members will come outside and greet you, get your info and provide any paperwork you need, all while you wait outside. They'll let you sit in your car if there are no seats left outside, too.

And I look forward to putting it on every review platform I can find to warn others. This is the specific location. 882 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30306 United States Phone number: +1 (770) 809-3034 Dr. Christina Collector Christina if you're reading this, you assured me 1. You'd reach out to make sure everything went smoothly post appointment and 2. That it is possible to call this urgent care and someone would answer.... They do not respond to any calls, at any hour, or voicemails. They don't even respond on their mychart platform which is again, absurd. I have selected every one of their choices, attempted to speak to front desk, billing, you name it. NO RESPONSE. I have called several times a day between May 28th and June 24th (when I'm writing this review) they do not respond to anything. All I need is an itemized bill of what they did while I was in urgent care to submit to my medical insurance. ICD codes, CPT codes, etc are required for insurance to bill. Mind you before I left both Dr. Christina Collector and her receptionist assured me I could call, contact them my email or my chart for an itemized bill. Yet, No response. Nothing. The bill they gave me is attached. It's a joke. But Piedmont did send me another bill by mail!!!!!!!!!!!!! Received June 20th... I am from out of state. I was visiting Atlanta for a graduation May 25th when I got injured with a laceration. The cut was deep enough for stitches but we didn't make it to urgent care in time. So essentially, Dr. Christina Collector washed the wound, put iodine, Neosporin and a bandage on. All of this could cost someone maybe $50 from cvs. The bill was flat rate $210 and the receipt they gave me was a joke. The saddest thing is, I wanted so badly to like this place and this dr. Now I get to spend my time writing this review and if their medical bills continue to be sent to me? Look forward to alerting the local media and seeing them in court.

Today I stopped in to ask if Dr. Aimee could perform an injection for sciatica and to make sure they had this medicine in stock. Just that question only, before I went to the emergency room. What I experienced was a total different no customer service attitude response to my kindness and concern. This is nothing like the medical professional service that we are use to experiencing. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted. Once the young lady appeared I was immediately given an attitude for no reason and she would not make eye contact nor apologize for keeping us waiting as three employees were laughing and socializing. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. She told me I would have to pay $150 and then she would see me (Dr. Aimee.) Super unprofessional all around. It is very disappointing as I am in tremendous pain and wanted to see a physician I could trust. My family and I will not be coming back.

The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.

I called around to find out who would carry this vaccination and was told they would by the national toll free number. I went in, and fortunately they had one left! Upon sign in I could see a long list of names. It said 4 1/2 hour wait. It also lets you give a phone # and it texts you 30 min before. So I went home and turned on my cell to wait. It worked! I was going to go eat, but you cant leave your car there! Got the vaccination, nurse was great, and all went well. This was on a SUN when all else is mostly closed so maybe the waits are longer on Sundays. At least you have the option to enter a cell, get a text, and then run over so you don't have to sit with all these sick people for hours. They put out a box of free masks to wear and a sign that asks you to wear one if your sneezing, coughing, etc. Nobody did. C'mon people!!!

Instead of giving me a reasonable moment to locate my card, other patients were taken ahead of me and I was told I needed to reschedule my appointment. I understand clinics can get busy, but there was no professionalism, patience, or basic courtesy shown during the interaction. Patients should not feel rushed or dismissed over something as simple as accessing insurance information. I will not be returning to this location.

They give you a buzzer which is what keeps you updated through the surgery wait. The buzzer makes it easy for them to discretely let you know that you are needed at the front desk for an update. Normally I am a germaphobe but this hospital was so clean (at least on the surgery side) that I had no issues with feeling like I was covered in germs. The inside is well lit, especially after the sun comes up. There are plenty of plug in outlets for phones or other technology. Lulu's Cafe has some great food that is not overpriced. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was huge. I was full for over half the day. The cafe offers a lot of different options. There is an older gentleman named Paul who walks around asking if anyone needs anything or has any questions. He was there when we went in for post op and there when we were waiting for the surgery. It's nice to have someone to offer assistance when you are stressed, waiting during a loved ones surgery. The short stay rooms are clean and the nurses are very understanding and kind. My girlfriend ended up being the last patient on the hall but they never got pushy. They let her wake up and accomplish her goals to leave as she felt like she could. They are very attentive. If they tell you they will be back in ten minutes, they will be back in ten minutes. Everyone was friendly from the front desk employees to the nurses and anesthesiologist.

Please don't go here especially if you don't have health insurance they will speak to you as if your less and mention you not having money. I was told oh let's add a covid test, oh yeah wait your paying nvm... I also was forced to wait over 20 mins after my appointment time... and they didn't even have me go in both rooms they made me get my blood pressure taken while answering questions even though you aren't suppose to talk while you get it done. I was also forced to go back in the waiting room for 15 minutes while my other test was done that I was basically coerced into doing. like I'm literally the patient why can't I stay in the room while my test is being done but I have to go back in the waiting room and she didn't even call me in and talk to me. She literally just handed me the papers and told me to leave. She also didn't have any care for what kind of job that I have or what kind of schedule that I have for needing to be off of work because I feel sick and just wrote that I could go back in the next morning and did not give a damn about how I felt about it since I have a laborious job. She told me take some Sudafed and some DayQuil and go to work. I was told if I didn't get a flu test done that my work note would come off really bad and this that the third because I said I couldn't afford to get a test done but I have flu like symptoms. The nurse at the front was like we've never had anybody deny a flu test and basically made me feel broke even though I can go buy a flu test for cheaper. Their flu test are $40. And the crazy part is the work note doesn't even say what you're sick with on it so I didn't even need to take this test!!!! They wasted my money and time and were arrogant and rude!
