The branch employees were mortified and handled it exceptionally well. We were days from losing the loan on our house unless we got it. The assistant manager Serena and the new employee Earlene rallied with the manager Kirsten, and jumped through some major hoops with the fraud department to get this done. We had been on the phone for hours. All we wanted was a printout. Once it hits the fraud department everything stops. But these ladies did everything within their power past closing time to get us what we needed. They kept us in the bank waiting for an eFax a half an hour past closing time. There seemed to be a lot of bad reviews on Chase but I can tell you at this branch I received some of the best service ever!

I had to open an Estate account for a settlement check from the insurance company after my brother was killed in a hit and run accident. When I went to get the check to pay the lawyer out of that money yesterday, they charged me $10.00 for a cashier's check. While I might realize that that isn't a whole lot of beans in this world today, I find it extremely unsatisfying that they did so. While banks might be limited here in town I will look into others that have better services and don't nickel & dime you to death over every transaction.

The one I mentioned had made…read morea mistake several months ago on a deposit that I told her twice was to go into checking but she put it into savings. Before we left the parking lot I looked at the receipt and found that it was done incorrectly. After having to wait in line again, I showed her the mistake and she corrected it without apologizing. The next visit I made to the bank I witnessed a customer having her correct a mistake she made by not putting his deposit into his Money Market Account. She was probably in her early-to mid 30s or so and I witnessed her chatting it up (to male customers on a personal level) for a more-than required time for their transaction. (I know because I have been in banking in the past). She was too distracted to concentrate on her job. I am happy with the courteous, yet fast and efficient tellers now on the Teller line. I would give this bank a rating of 1 only because a zero isn't offered. Junk fees have been illegal for years and they're still getting buy with it. Junk fees are fees related to the banks service fees and similar illegal fees. California leads the industry's watchdogs. They are very familiar with the regulators because they have had to answer inquiries many times. Stay away from this bank owned by Columbia Bank another institutional that picked them up from bankruptcy in recent years.
