Rene, the leasing agent I dealt with, remains to be very concerned as well as proactive, on her well being and care. The open living area of the property far exceeds much more expensive facilities. The food, trust me, far exceeds all of those other facilities, as it's also part of the rental package. There are multiple choices to choose from on the menu as well as a standard menu, and everything I've had, as well as seen, has been outstanding! Believe me, In viewing other properties, most of which were much more expensive, they were either full of snobs, or they were dumps, and they didn't have such a wide choice of apartments as Treemont. I highly recommend you STAY AWAY FROM A PLACE FOR MOM, as I'm still getting repeat calls from places that I've repeatedly told my mother-in-law is settled and happy. That location service seems to have a stranglehold on the market, and makes it hard to find such great places as this.

Medication, durable medical equipment, clothing, jewelry from my deceased mother, my computer, food, furniture, everything, in the trash and all because Maddie, the housekeeping manager, acted on her own and against company policy after being informed that we still had time and we were not finished moving. I cannot believe someone could be so cruel working at a place with such a vulnerable population. I am hurt beyond words. Neeli Smith, the director, is very sweet and she apologized for Maddie's actions and couldn't understand why she would do such a thing when the policy is clear and it was definitely violated. The company offered $1000 to replace my computer but nothing else and I refused their offer. When I refused their next offer of $3000, the asset manager asked how I was going to pay past due rent. I thought that was incredibly unprofessional and shows me that the safety of residents isn't their concern. I have tried to work this out but have been left with no other choice but contact an attorney. It's a sad situation. I am left to suffer over one employee's very bad decision and she goes on to work at the Emerson.

My aunt now travels via wheelchair. The caregivers are always on time or early. They assist my dad and aunt in getting in and out of the car. They sit with my aunt during church. If they have to change caregivers then we are notified in plenty of time for the new caregiver to meet my aunt prior to picking her up. Reliable, professional, caring, and engaging with the clients are great qualities of the caregivers employed by Stay in Home Care! Their team does a great job at placing the right caregiver with the client. Their attention to customer service goes above and beyond expectations.

Over the past 6 months my mother has been left alone without a nighttime caregiver on 3 separate occasions. She is unable to get to the bathroom on her own so she spent the entire night in her chair unable to get the bathroom. The lack of a caregiver was never communicated with the family so they could care for their mother while she was uncared for. The response from The Key has always been a simple apology with no other offer or promise to even do better. Unfortunately, it seems The Key is most interested in making money and not providing quality home care for elderly people and their families who are relying on them to care for loved ones.

Completely distraught, on a Saturday morning, I called several in home health care agencies. Most of them have answering services or recordings to leave a message. I waited for a call back. No one was available to talk to me. Home Care Assistance was the third agency I called to get help for my Dad. "Christina" answers the phone, she speaks clearly, and has a talent for comforting you. I was looking for someone to rescue me!! I expected an aide to come out that Saturday morning (not knowing the industry standard process). The owner himself, Matthew P., came out to our house within 2 hours to evaluate my dad on a Saturday afternoon. Matthew was professional, kind, patient, understood our circumstance and made several suggestions to help us sort through the care we needed. Matthew did his BEST to get someone to us that night but couldn't on such short notice but he did get an aide to us Sunday morning at 8am. A Certified Nursing Assistance named Sisa showed up on time and hit the ground running!! Her level of care was off the charts beyond our expectations. Sisa made two meals, vacuumed the house, transferred my dad several times, toileted him, bathed him, interacted with him and much much more. Sisa saved ME and has been a perfect fit for my both of my parents. I've hired this aide for 12 hours a day until the end of the week until I can figure out more about Medicare. FIVE STARS for Home Care Assistance!! I am so thankful grateful and appreciative and will be using their services over and over until the end of life phases for both of my parents. THANK YOU!!! Hospice care is covered by Medicare but only covers a few hours per week ... additional care was not covered by Mom's insurance but we needed assistance with Mom. The hospice provider highly recommended Custom Caregivers for the additional care. I got a few quotes from Custom and other caregivers. Custom Caregiver's price was a little higher than other providers we spoke to but we hired Custom. Custom: 1) timely put together a team on short notice 2) showed up and were courteous and attentive 3) did an excellent job in caring for Mom It was money "well spent!"

There was always something fun to do, staying as busy as you wanted to be, a full work out area, a exercise room, pool, craft room, movie room, chapel, field trips with a guide, and her favorite Happy Hour. Later, as she needed more help there was 24/7 nursing care at different levels of need. We were so happy to be able to let her spend her final days there.
