If you're looking for a good daytime activity in Lisbon, get over here with all your friends, eat all the things, and then window shop/actually shop as you wander back toward the city center. There are a LOT of different stalls manned by very personable people, and we split up, ordered whatever we wanted, and reconvened at all of the very comfortable tables to eat everything. We had: ramen, two different steaks, rice and beans, salad, fries, oysters, shawarma, a few different baos, candied nuts, and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. And honestly, it was all pretty affordable. There are even some cute little clothing shops, if you ever get tired of eating. I don't, really. Truly, a great stop in Lisbon.

We bought a red and a white and a white that were excellent. They accepted credit cards .I'm told there is a good farmer's market there on Saturday's. Some basic Portuguese was needed for the vegetables vendor but the young woman in the olive oil store offered to speak English. This was a fun experience we won't forget.

Got some ok pizzas (cheese a bit thick), excellent amazing octopus, great croquettes, tasty crispy rice, beef cheek, cocktails. Octopus was definitely a must-have!
