For American shoppers the service might seem standoffish or aloof (you have to weigh your own vegetables!) but it's the most democratic grocery store. Everyone goes and everyone works (you weight your produce, bag your groceries, and hunt on your own). The best place to stock up during the week but on Sunday - the Asian grocer is your best friend. Nifty theme song that gets into your head, so beware.

Great location opposite the Habaneras shopping center, next to Lidl supermarket, near restaurants and the cinema. Carrefour is also hypermarket is also within 3 minutes walk. You got choice where to spend your money in this area. The same products, prices and service as in their other supermarkets. Tried and proven :) Free parking available in this busy area. Not sure if it's enough for our upcoming post-Covid world when the tourists are back. I hope, yes I probably will not shop at this one often but this Mercadona will work well for anyone in the area.

Makes sense to shop here if you live very close. Another reason is their Christmas and other holidays gift sets, food sets in baskets and some gourmet wines and food. Grilling their pork ribs at the moment. If they are really exceptional I will change 4 stars to 5.

Unlucky me :) Got a loyalty card a few months ago but haven't used it until today (kept in car always). The products and prices are similar to what you find in other food shops but there are some differences and it was a real fun to explore those differences tonight. If you are a frequent visitor to Mercadona or Lidl like me, visit Consum once in a while even if it takes a bit of extra driving. I felt like I went abroad today - different brands, store brands, packaging design, even fruits and vegs seem to be different... Polite staff will greet you and ask you if you need assistance (unusual in Spain). This shop will make you want to move to Quesada, seriosely. Will be back 100%.

Another Lidl on the N-332 road…read more Being a fun of the chain I don't understand two things: 1) What the heck you don't sell packed gazpacho? I think you had it in stock but then it disappeared. I couldn't believe it was not there anymore, asked the staff but nobody seemed to know. A must, must have item to stock in Spain for locals and tourists alike. Bring it back! 2) Where did you guys find the jamón you're selling? Is it made in Germany? You could sure find a better supplier! Too much fat and it doesn't taste like it should. Mercadona beats you in this category 200%. Spain wouldn't be Spain without these two products, "verstehst du"? That said, Lidl is a good store. Great choice of basic products, easy to find and park, never had serious issues with any products they sell. Just don't buy jamón and don't try to find gazpacho here. P.S. You will find a lot of unusual products here. most of them are not offered in supermarkets. Prices of similar items are lower than in retail shops. Cards accepted. Parking is availabIe in front of the warehouse. I will visit again 100%.
