I can't believe this place doesn't exist on yelp. Since I had a painfully difficult time finding this place, I made the dropped pin location available to help fellow yelpers who may want in on this little gem. If you're a fan of food, arts, and live performances, you'll love this place. It's a bit of a trek if you're planning to take a bus there like me, so make sure you get a cab there if you can't handle walking that long and/or can't stand walking on dirt roads. I went there a bit late (half an hour before closing) but there were still a few vendors scattered about. I'm not a fan of jewelry or handmade crafts but I gotta say that a lot of the stands have some really neat looking pieces that would make an excellent choice of souvenirs. What I'm a fan of is the cabeno juice smoothies from jugos las animas. At only 50 pesos a pop (~$2.50), I couldn't resist getting a second one. As for food, I loved the chicken torta from Las Cazuelas del Don. Too bad I was there too late to try out more food joints. read more
