Commenting on the lunch buffet: This place offers a lunch buffet every day. While it's satisfactory, it's certainly not the best (or cheapest) place to go in Genova for a buffet lunch. For the main course, they offer one pasta dish, one type of meat (chicken schnitzel etc.), one type of fish (grilled salmon, then swordfish when I was there), one vegetable dish, and boiled beans & carrots. You can also find a couple of genovese side dishes, such as the spinach & ricotta cake and torta di riso (rice). There is also ricotta (with different types of jams) and brie cheese. While there seems to be a large selection of dishes, there aren't many options for people (like me) who are looking for lighter & healthier dishes. Those that are relatively healthy, such as the beans and the fish, were terribly bland in my experience. Not to forget that drinks (except water and wine, I think) are not included in the buffet price. This is a good place to go to if you're thinking of having a big & heavy lunch, and we not necessarily looking for great quality and flavor. There are definitely much better places in Genova to go to for healthier & tastier buffet options, and they are cheaper too. read more
