I have…read morea compromised immune system and it is upsetting that in the public areas none of the residents are wearing a mask. What's even more concerning is that the staff is supposedly required to wear masks which is a joke. I've only seen a few of the receptionists have a complete face covering. The rest of the employees do not cover their noses if they even wear a mask at all. This is supposed to be a senior residence and people who live here are at the age where they are more Susceptible to getting the virus. Obviously this has not been a concern for the staff who are mostly temporary workers. I have a masters degree in business and I know staffing is an issue currently. Unfortunately it goes even further where the food being served is lacking to say the least. I have spoken to the food director and she said she was having not only supply issues but also staffing issues. She told me she has changed the supplier but it's still not getting the quality of food that she used to get. They are also serving less and less portions. I'm lucky if I get a quarter of a cup of soup. Yet everyone is still charged the same price as before only now you get smaller portions and poorer quality.

My initial PT evaluation was delayed. I was told I would never walk without a walker by the head of the PT Department! It was very discouraging. Today I walk without the need of a walker. In the office, the Arboretum had access to withdraw payments from my checking account. At one point, I was down to under $40 in my account because of their error. They refunded me the money in the form of a check and the check bounced! Their office staff was totally incompetent. I would not recommend the Arboretum for anyone.

Terrible place! Our elder isn't changed or even checked on many nights. That is BS because we pay a lot of money and it is our right to record everything! The worker that did this was confronted and he got in our face while screaming/swearing, in front of a supervisor. Nothing was done expect he couldn't go into our elders room. He has stated that he does this in every room, etc. Many times during changing his diaper isn't changed they just check the cath, etc. Some staff are requested to change our elder and they come in and tell us they are on break. WTF! At night workers are in t he day area on their phones when they should be cleaning or checking on elders. No reason they need to sit on their butts while working. This place is terrible for what we pay!
