If an item is in stock, customers should have a fair opportunity to purchase it. It is extremely frustrating to come to the store specifically for something only to find out that employees are holding it for themselves. And then there are the random closures. I've gone out of my way to come to this location only to find it closed for seemingly no reason, despite the posted hours saying it should be open. There is nothing more irritating than wasting your time and gas getting somewhere just to find the doors locked with no explanation. This location seriously needs to get its employees and management under control. For some reason, it has never gain the chicness of ALDI Nord's Trader Joe's But ALDI Süd has been working very hard at expanding their brand here in North America. Recently they purchased nearly 400 Winn-Dixie and Harveys supermarkets in the southern U.S. The food is always fresh and their house German specialty brand, Deutsche Kueche is very good with hard to find items. We particularly like their Christmas holiday Glühwein, Weißwurst, Rheinwein and german Spätzle noodles mixes. Now, if you have never shopped in an ALDI's, don't forget to bring a quarter. Seems the original Albrecht brothers had a thing for shopping carts not being returned. LOL. Another German carryover is bagging your groceries quickly. Macht schnell!
