I always stay to the five case limit, have everything organized in original boxes and clean. I happen to go in on Sunday this time and there was a large sign saying they don't do returns on Sunday. I apologized, started walking back out and a younger gentleman at the register told me he'd take it anyways. I went up to the counter where an older gentleman with glasses was. Instead of greeting me he gave me a dirty look and shook his head. Extremely rude. I didn't ask for you to take, as smarter of fact o was going to come back another day with no problem. You could've enforced the sign and I wouldn't have cared. No need to be rude....

In direct violation of state law, this store refuses to accept returns after 12:00 noon. I visited…read morethe store at around 2:00PM to buy a case of beer. I also intended to return a case of empty bottles that I bought here the previous week. The owner told me that he does not accept returns after 12:00PM because the store is too busy. I pointed out that I was the only customer in the store and that I bought the empty case at his establishment and I was about to buy another. I also told him that they were REQUIRED BY LAW to accept returns during all hours of operation (MA Bottle Bill). He told me that he could do whatever he wanted because he owned the place - what an arrogant jerk to think he is above the law. I bought at least a case of beer here every week for years, but I will never set foot in this dump ever again. Suggest you also shop elsewhere... Customers can call the state enforcement at: 617-556-1054 to report their bottle bill law violation for refusing to accept returns during ALL times that they are open for business.
