Took my kids here for the first time and overall had a good experience. There was a nice selection of frozen yogurt and non-dairy sorbet flavors, along with tons of topping choices. The space is small with limited indoor seating, and it had a steady stream of customers while we were there. The floors were noticeably sticky and messy, which was the one downside. Tables were wiped down/not sticky, samples cups were plentiful, and staff was instructive and helpful with the process of getting the yogurt + toppings. I appreciate Menchie's for having options that include no fake sugars/additives and use more natural ingredients than other frozen yogurt places. The only negative was that the strawberries were brown and old, along with a few other fruit toppings. The bathroom was also a little dirtier than I'd have hoped. If we are in the area, we would go back. I'd also be curious to try their frozen yogurt "ice cream" cakes! read more

It's all about the cup and restraint. A satisfactory portion in the smallest cup looks deceptively small. I had five ounces and wondered if it was enough because so much cup was left over. Not sure what happened to this location or the staff. This used to be my favorite place to go for a quick yogurt with my girlfriend but after our latest experience will not be going back. The staff member working at the front was very disrespectful and appeared to be on some type of drugs making our experience horrible. She overcharged us $43 for 2 yogurts but we didn't say anything as we don't plan on ever coming back. Location was incredibly dirty as well with lots of uncleaned dried yogurt all over the tables. Sad to see such a great location fall from grace. read more

Decided to try Menchies today and was greeted with the worst customer service. The teenage girls working the register were more focused flirting with the boys behind the counter whom of which didn't seem to work there, they even made a comment that the boys were able to have their yogurt for free. The girls couldn't seem more bothered when customers walk in. Highly dissatisfied, will not be returning. read more

The yogurt is wonderful but OMG the store on Hwy K Ofallon is just a nasty mess inside. Floor is dirty. Tables and chairs are dirty. Even the scale was dirty. My God they need to clean the windows and mop the floor and wipe the tables off. The chairs and tables should be cleaned with some kind of bleach cleaner. This used to be our favorite frozen yoghurt place. Granted, we have not been here in over a year due to Covid. Went in yesterday with my kids and wow, what a terrible experience. The floor was thick with grime and stickiness, the handles of the scoops for the toppings were icky, and the tables looked like they had not been wiped down in weeks. When I asked for our table to be wiped down, the person behind the counter hesitated, looked around, and reached for a rag sitting in a bucket of dirty water. Seriously disappointed with Menchies...what a shame :( read more

Absolutely love this place. Love that they allow you to sample flavors and that they're always getting something new in! Though I'm an original tart kind of person, I know there's other flavors I can add in to make it even better. Plus toppings galore! Definitely gets an A+ from me. We tried this place for the first time tonight, and it was absolutely delicious. I got a mix of the pineapple and blueberry yogurt, with blueberries, strawberries, kiwi and a little swirl of nutella. There were many options for yogurt and you can even combine flavors in a swirl. There were also at least 20 toppings, sauces and other additions. The best part the price. It was only $5. The ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. read more

This isn't necessary about Menchies itself, but more of what tHE OWNER OF THE STORE DID. So I went to Chipotle (literally two doors down from Menchies) for dinner last month and ordered myself some dinner; I always ask for 4 scoops of rice. My mother was outside waiting for me and happened to hear someone from Menchies and an employee from Chipotle say "Yeah and I'll also have quad scoops of chicken with my rice" We emailed corporate about this and they responded with the typical "I'm sorry this happened, we'll talk to him, have a nice day." About two days later, we got another email from the co-owner saying, "I'm truly sorry for what you and your daughter went through, HOWEVER, I do think what Chris (the owner) said was taken out of context. You see he was just excited to find out that he could order extra beans and rice for no extra charge." Yeah, ok so that's why he stood outside Chipotle laughing and pointing at me. I recently only caught on to the self serve yogurt world and I'm now mad at myself for waiting so long to try this delicious little treat. If you're indecisive about what flavor yogurt you want, Mechies is the place to because you can try them all - and pick out all of your own toppings. The banana yogurt may be the best flavor they have and I wish this flavor was available year round. This place is a keeper and we'll be back.... and often. read more
