I wouldn't be surprised if they were $6,000 in the hole and dead by Christmas. They must have all openings for management positions because there's zero leadership visible to the naked eye. A good example of this is a manager named Tristan; I asked them for help and they immediately bypassed me to another person who was already in the middle of something. I saw them do this to eight other customers including their own employees. This Tristan avoids leadership like covid. I'm assuming with an educated guess that 99% of all the other leadership is in the same position; people who fill the position but don't have a proper leadership bone in their body, theses people are not leaders they're parasites sucking the life out of one of the most renowned names in capitalism. I make this educated guess based on the experience I had. I was immediately bypassed (by Tristan) to another employee named Sara. This poor woman was already in the middle of what seemed to be five different projects when I was dumped on her she stayed calm kept her composure and gave me the best service she possibly could for that and only that I give Macy's one star. However if I could give zero I would because management like Tristan makes customers feel like burdens who are unwanted. Whoever designed the store is a complete imbecile putting the cash registers as far away from the West Acres entrance as humanly possible shows their lack of critical thinking and understanding of Logistics 101. Macy's thinks people are coming to the mall just to see them without a thought that maybe just maybe the biggest store in the entirety of North Dakota might have other things to offer. Macy's has everything you expect in a dying retail store; staff trying to do the absolute best with little to no help, worn out furnishings, dead light bulbs and dust bunnies as far as the eye can see. Obnoxious plants and fake vases are everywhere not for sale but it distract you from The Wretched atmosphere. What they don't give you is selection of quality Goods.
